It's becoming more of a problem and I have no idea what to do. Anyone have something similar? I'll be getting ready to start a game and I want to make a quick change to the line-up before I start and the player isn't there that I want to start. You aren't alone there. Like sometimes when i want to put a certain player like the other day i wanted to put Vance wilson in to catch when there was a DH for Piazza at the lineup screen and i could not find him but then when i went to RHP w/o DH he was there? Only 3 lineups have him listed so I have to put somebody else in his place. big shmooz Posted August 30, 2004 Share Posted August 30, 2004 I seem to remember this being discussed a while back on the high heat forums site for MVP 2004. I think it is a bug when someone edits their rosters with MVP Edit & when doing so, empties out a roster spot instead of exchanging it with another player whilst doing so. Even if they then add another player to fill the roster correctly, it eliminates a player from the DH slot, or something to that effect. (I don't remember the exact effect prefectly clearly). Also, a lot of the top players ratings are chagned to 99 or 100. Does anyone have a roster like that? YankeePride Posted September 1, 2004 Share Posted September 1, 2004 I've seen this before (only once). 1. The missing player is available in-game. So, you can (even though you will lose the starter) put him in as soon as you start the actual game. 2. Seems to be a DH-issue. This happened to me when I played the World Series at a National League park. (I'm the Yankees, obviously in my dynasty). I lost Giambi in my lineup, but he was available in-game as a substitution. I don't think I did anything different before the game and couldn't even fix the problem. The thing is, it never happened again after that one time (actually, I'm wrong. It happened in both games I played at the National League Park - Games One and Two). I never noticed it during Inter-league, but may have overlooked it.
