How to install KG 3.0 without SCREWING up cyberfaces

Ok, I am probably missing an obvious thing here but, I have MVP 07 mod installed. I want to update my rosters so I download the latest version of KG roster update. (I installed KG and not UR rosters when I installed the game). The read me just says place .dat fles into your database folder in your mvp folder. I do that and when I play the game most of the the players have generic faces and not the cyberfaces they had on my first install of the game. I read something about models.big so I downloaded this update of the may models.big here:

and it still didn't fix the problem. How can I update my rosters and keep the good cyberfaces from the first install of the game?

When you say first install, do you mean the original game? If you want to play MVP 07 with the original cyberfaces, you can do that by installing 07, installing my most recent "standard" roster, and then putting in the original models.big from the game CD into your /data folder.

Which one of KG's roster did you install - the standard version or the plus version? The plus version requires you to have the latest models.big. The standard version should work with the default models.big that came with the game.

Also, the link that you provided is an add-on only. It says that you need one of the two Models.big update for MVP 07 or Models.big update for MVP 07. Have you done that?

answer 1-when I say first install I mean first install of the 07 mod

answer 2-the standard version and it didn't work with the default models.big. No I didn't do the other files, I will try that now.

Anybody know why this wouldn't have worked with the default models.big?

I should also mention I do not have MVP 07 patch 2 installed because I nothiced that all the added stuff on the screen was both annoying and it seemed to to slow the game down. I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

If you have the standard version, the ONLY models.big you can have is the original one that came from the game; any others will not be 100% compatible.

The standard version is used in conjunction with the original models.big. The plus version will provide you with all the latest cyberfaces that these modders have created. I would recommend that you install the plus version rather than the standard one and also I think you would need to have the plus version if you are planning on installing the models.big update.
