ibanezjp
Ok, so I wanted to get Greg Vaughn's face from mvp 2004 and put it it in MVP 94. I started by opening MVP edit and opening the database folder for MVP 2004 and found that Greg Vaughn had face number 106. I then opened EA graph and opened the models.big file for MVP 2004 and found three files for the face: c106fsh, c106.orl, c106.ord. I highlighted each of them and went to file--->extract. It asked If I wanted to decompress the files and I said NO. I then found out that Greg Vaughn was assigned a generic face of 913 in MVP 94. Next I opened the MVP 94 models.big in EA graph and looked for a face number not in use. I picked number 851. Then I renamed my 3 files to be c851.fsh, etc. I opened EA graph and opened the models.big for MVP 94. I went to the import wizard and inported each of these 3 files 1 at a time. For importing I did all the default options (like add files to an external TAR archive). I then went into MVP edit an opened the database folder for MVP 94. I changed Greg Vaughn's face number to 851 and clicked yes for the "04 face" option. I then did export and highlighted the database folder for MVP 94. When I opened the game the face was on him when I went into edit player and it looked great, but when I went to play the game. His face was all white, like it had a lot of light on it. You could see the features but it was so bright that it was white. Here is a screenshot: http://s3.quicksharing.com/v/79ss1jj7/vaug...d_face.rtf.html WHAT DID I DO WRONG? I was detailed in writing out these steps so hopefully someone can tell me where I screwed up. Thanks
Homer
well first off, you really shouldn't make a brand new thread about this. but your description was actually pretty good, so it actually might be helpful to others. anyhow, this sorta brings up the question i raised earlier, can you simply use cyberfaces from 2004 and install them into 2005. and from what i can see, i don't think so. maybe another modder here with more experience will be able to shed some light on this, but i am getting the same problem as you. it's a shame too, cuz it's actually a pretty good cyberface. krawhitham
the ORL and ORD files are not compatible now maybe an oedit guy would know if it is possible to export the points in the 2004 face and load them into a 2005 face

krawhitham
the o files for 2004 consist of 3 parts for a total of 712 rhino points the o files for 2005 consist of 1 part for a total of 697 rhino points so this is over my head

The Big O
Not possible, guys. I just tried importing points from a cyberface from 04 into an '05 2004 cyberface. The difference in points won't allow a full import. The headshape part does come in but it is all screwed up. Sorry...
