tinpanalley
I'm sorry, I must be dense. Where is krawhitham's installer thingy. Yes, I've searched downloads and forum posts. I've obviously missed it.

tinpanalley
THanks guys, I thought I was going nuts. Unfortunately now it doesn't work. I tried it in my name changed "MVP 07" folder and then read that it has to be in the original. I plopped it in the original install folder which has the original install path and it didn't work there either. Any ideas? Also, can I use MVPEdit to change my rosters and so on? I try opening the 3.0plus.mbe and all the players have their previous uniform headshots.

Yes, you can use MVPEdit to edit the rosters. It actually depends on what stage you are modifying the rosters. If you haven't yet started a dynasty then you can import the .DAT files found in your database folder. If you have already started a dynasty, you would need to use TyWiggins' .DAT importer/exporter to grab all the .DAT files from your current dynasty and then use MVPEdit to import those files. Also, you need to point to the correct directory in MVPEdit for it to display the correct portraits.

tinpanalley
Ok, I got kraws installer thingy to work. Added an mvp2005.exe and now it's fine. Still can't get MVPEdit to see the updated player headshots. I play with Toronto. Matt Stairs is wearing a Texas hat and Clayton a Reds hat. But, here's the weird thing, in the game, everything's fine. I saved a roster file within the game after making a couple of changes. Can't I just load up that save somehow? Help me figure this out guys. 2:54pm - Ok, I reset the rosters in-game and MVP Edit still shows me the wrong headshots when I either open the mbe that the updated 3.0plus came with or when i open my dat files. Any ideas guys?
tinpanalley
Now, I'm perhaps more confused than before. I opened the dat files regardless of the fact that I was getting the wrong headshots. I made all my roster changes for the Jays. Exported my dat files and overwrote (?) those in the data/database folder of my MVP 2007 folder. Loaded up the game, reset the rosters, lo and behold my changes all appeared. Can someone explain to me why MVP Edit then isn't showing me the right headshots? Am I missing a file of some sort? Obviously something in the dats is referencing the old portraits, right? I know it seems to be working now but it's just frustrating, y'know? Any ideas? You need to point it to the correct directory where the game is installed. Goto tools -> options -> and check to make sure that the program is pointing to the right directory. Hope that helps. tinpanalley
Hey redsox, Thank you. I didn't think something that simple would be so important. I guess it defaults to the MVP2005 folder unless you tell it otherwise. However, now it's not showing me ANY portraits. Just says "no picture found". Any clue about that?
