bluesbrother31
I was wandering if anyone can tell me how to set nfshtool as the default tool to open .fsh files. I know you would normally right click on a .fsh file and then select the nfshtool exe. This worked for me earlier today but I was cleaning up some folders and now when I try to right click on a .fsh file and browse to the nfshtool.exe and select it, it wont show up on a list of programs to open fsh files with. I am trying to install some new shoes and when I get to the part where I right click on the index.fsh to repack it I am unable to do this. I just cant get nfshtool to show up in the list of available programs to open it with. This worked for me earlier today and I actually imported some new shoes into the game. But after cleaning up some folders it wont work. P.S. If I drag a .fsh file onto the nfshtool.exe it will unpack it. I just cant repack it. Any info would be much appreciated. MarkB
In the list of porgrams, there should be an option to browse for a file. From there, just locate the .exe and select it. Failing this, you can go to Folder Options-File Types and select the .exe from there, or create a new entry for .fsh if you need to.
The Big O
Acutally if you just locate the nfshtool.exe and double click it you'll be able to unpack and repack .fsh files just by double clicking on them. There is no need to right click and select.
Homer
you can also repack it by dragging and dropping the index file into nfshtool.exe

bluesbrother31
ok I finally got it to work. Eventually had to copy nfshtool into the extracted .bmp file. drag, repack, delete nfshtool. so on and so on. thats the only way I could get it to work but the new shoes are in the game and they look sweet. thanks spungo for the shoes and thanks to everyone who gave me some valuable information.
