Best way to fix career stats screwup?

So I'm almost half way through my dynasty and I notice that for some reason the year reverted back to 2005. Not thinking about how stats would get affected, I used the schdule updater to make it 2007. Obviously now I've got everyone's stats saying they've only played one game in 2007. What's the best way to fix this?

I read through ty's dat. importer/exporter forum and I'm thinking maybe I could import the stats from my dynasty back into 2007. Am I right? If anybody has done this is it easy to do? Or is there an easier way? Or....should I just suck it up and wait until the end of the season and use the MVP Editor to change all the career stats? I just really like everything to be as realistic as possible so it's kinda bugging me that the career stats are off.
