don't worry about people following. People may be reading, they just may not be posting a lot. I follow a ton of dynasties on this site and very rarely do I post in them. Just keep trekking, people will pay attention.

(Let's hope the mets can start winning some games now :) )

ATLANTA--Hello Everybody. I'm Bob Murphy. You may have thought i died in 2004, But that was a way for me to escape the public eye. Now i am back in the Mets organization announcing games for WFAN and SNY. Now the Mets just came off a sub-par road trip against the Cardinals, dropping two out of three, But that wasnt gonna hold back these resurgent Mets.

Mark Redman, former Kansas City all-star pitcher started for Atlanta, while Willie Randolph sent out Oliver Perez making his first start of the season. Atlanta struck first with a Jeff Francoeur Home Run in the Bottom of the Second. Then in the Top of the sixth Carlos Beltran drove in Carlos Gomez to tie the game. Man can that kid run. Same inning, Kelly Johnson hits a shot into right field to give Atlanta a 2-1 lead

In the Bottom of the 7th, David Wright doubled to lead it off, then Shawn Green drove him in to tie the game at 2. But later Brian McCann blasts one off Ambiorix Burgos, then a RBI Double by former Met Chris Woodward to give them a 4-2 lead.

This is when everything fell apart for these Braves. Carlos Delgado tied the game up at 4 driving David Wright. Then in the top of the 9th, Jose Valentin singled, stole second, advanced to third on Jose Reyes' Bunt single, then scored on Carlos Gomez's Bunt base hit to give the Mets a 5-4 lead. Then Carlos Beltran was intentionally walked to fill the ducks on the pond, then Carlos Delgado drives in 2 to make it a 7-4 ballgame

The Braves tried to comeback as Brian McCann and Matt Diaz(is it Die-az or Dee-az)both homered to make it a one run game, But it wasnt enough for Atlanta as the New York Mets defeat the Atlanta Braves 7-6. On a side note, Carlos Gomez stole 5 bases today, can that kid run. I'm Bob Murphy and thats the Happy Recap
