MVP and Windows Vista

I recently installed MVP on Vista Home Premium. I ran the 07 Mod and Patch 2. Everything installed fine and the game runs. The video is extremely choppy. I have an Nvidea 7600GS with 512 Video Memory. The game runs extremely well on XP with this graphics card. Everything runs well on high resolution. I will run this game on XP, but was curious to know if someone knows how to get the game running smoothly on Vista.

I would appreciate any assistance or direction.

have you tried updating video drivers, the ones that come with Vista are bad

I have the same video card with 512mb and the new windows an the game runs o.k. No major problems with the game. TRy adjusting your video card settings.

I did have vista, and MVP ran just fine with no slowdowns, hiccups, or choppiness at all. I was running Vista on my laptop, so the video card isn't as good as the one you listed. Video drivers are probably your issue.

Thanks for the responses so far. I installed the latest video drivers from the Nvidia web site. As far as the card settings, I have vertical sync on, and in the game as well. Are there any other video settings I should try?
