jfreak4031
I recently downloaded and installed MVP 07 on my computer. I used the downloaded wizard to run a clean install right off my original disc. No no-CD hacks or anything like that. I could see the initial load screen w/ the Griffey pic, but it crashes back to the desktop when the bar fills about 5 percent. I installed patch 2 and got the same result. I am DYING to play 07, can anyone help? Also, no firewalls like Comodo, I only have PC-Cillin, which has never interfered with anything non-internet related. Also, I still have my original 05 install intact and I'm playing through a dynasty, so I know my disk/game files aren't bad. One last thing: Is there any reason it wouldn't run on mobile hardware? I have a Dell e1705 with an ATI Radeon X1400 Mobility 256MB, which should be way more than capable of handling MVP's graphics.
cfree8988
Well, if my other 05 install was working I would copy those files into another folder called MVP Baseball 2007 then try that to verify it works, which it will. After it works then install the 07 mod and try again. If that doesn't work then re-download the 07 mod and try again. If that still doesn't work then you need to try installing the 07 mod in safe mode or something then boot back to normal windows and try again. That is an odd circumstance you have there. Hope that works.
jfreak4031
I'm not using any no-cd hacks or anything. I DLed the 07 mod and ran the install, using my MVP discs when prompted. I get the load screen problem when I ttry to launch it after install.
krawhitham
Also, no firewalls like Comodo, I only have PC-Cillin, which has never interfered with anything non-internet related. the gamn starts to ask as a server at the loading screen, so it might be internet related
jfreak4031
OK, I turned off my firewall and tried one more time just to be sure. Same result.
