A Couple Questions

I just have 2 questions for anyone who can answer them. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated:

1) I've played numerous games where I bloop a ball in front of a player (an obvious hit) and the ball bounces over the players head, allowing my runner to advance a base or two. Technically it should be a hit PLUS an error, but the game always counts it as an error, losing the hit for the batter. Is there a way to fix this? A mod perhaps?

2) I'm almost done with July in my Twins dynasty. I was at around .500 for a month and a half at the beginning of the season, but since the end of May, I've been on a tear. I'm now something like 65-35, and I'm sick of winning. I have my hitting sliders (power and contact) set to -50. I've already got 36 HR's from Hunter (very unrealistic), and I want to do something so that it can be more realistic. Can someone help me out? I've tweaked sliders to and fro, and nothing seems to stick.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

for question #2 - up the difficulty level ( pro - allstar), and also check out some of the datafiles that are on this site, i have trues datafile and im having a great season so far with very realistic stats.

Yea, I've been playing on MVP all season, and am still winning seemingly every game. But I'll check out the datafiles.

Can anyone answer my question about the error problem?

Also, I'm still having problems making the game realistic. I have trues' sliders, and I'm still winning too much. And it seems that whenever I pull the ball with Torii Hunter, it ends up as a homerun to left. I mean, come on. It's the end of July and he's got 40 homeruns. Not very likely...
