DoDaMan
I try to host IP to IP and it wont connect. I have forwarded all ports in router and have MVP as an exception in my firewall, and it still wont connect. What else is there to do so I can play online? Raston
If you mean it won't connect in that when you host you get a message that says failed to connect to IP as though you're trying to connect to the other PC but you're hosting, I duno. I had that problem and just reinstalled MVP. It worked after that. If you mean that you host and sit looking at the connecting message and no one joins then it's: 1. Make sure the client is typing IP correctly. 2. Client may need to allow MVP05 in his firewall or turn it off for that game. 3. Make sure that you've entered the correct ports for game and forward incoming data to your personal PC's IP. ex. 192.168.1.100 etc.. Also I've at times had to also do port triggering for some games. Depends on what type of router you use. I've found problems most often occur with the router set-up when hosting games. 4. Try rebooting. 5. If all else fails try connecting your cable directly to your pc by-passing the router. If it works then you know it's something with the router set-up.You might also before doing this is have your friend host and see if you can connect with him. That's about all I can think of. Hopefully this will help
