redsox
Wondering if you guys could help me out. I am trying to convert a .RM file to a .AVI file. I am looking for a freeware or shareware software in particular that does NOT add any watermarks on the output video. All the softwares that I have downloaded so far and checked eventually add their watermark at the end. Does anyone know of a software that does not add that? Thanks for the help. Take care. redsox
I have tried AVone video converter, Boilsoft, AplusVideo Converter, RM converter, AVI-pro among many things. The only problem I have with all of those softwares is that they always add that watermark at the end (unless of course I buy the software, but I am trying to refrain myself from doing that since it will most likely be an one time use). I was able to find a .AVI to DVD format without the watermark being added but that program does not read .RM files. So basically I would need to convert .RM to .AVI and then .AVI to a DVD file. DoubleD
http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.asp I think their trial doesn't add a watermark, but I haven't used it in 5+ years. It's the worst of the bunch too, but atleast it won't add a watermark. Well, it was the worst, I don't know how much it has improved in it's newer versions, since as I said I haven't used it in a long long time. redsox
Hey DoubleD, I don't think the software converts a .RM file to .AVI file. I think all it does is just take screenshots. Have you used this software before to convert video files?
