Hey guys im new, what all do I need?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I stumbled upon this amazing site at the tip from a friend. So I recently bought MVP 05 from ebay and am wondering what mods should I download?

I have the rosters and the mlb 07 mod but is there anything else that I would need?

Thanx and just wanted to say thanx to those who put the amazing effort and work into this site!

You could use search and find the complete list of all mods you need to bring MVP2005 up to date. But since you're new, you're not familer with search yet.

Here's a quick list of mods to get you started.

MLB 07 mod

MLB 07 patch

total portrates 07, (there are updates for players pics all the time)

the lastest rosters, (either KG's rosters or totte's UR rosters)

the lastest models update

most of the stadiums have been updated since april 07, look those up under stadiums in down load.

the mods you'll want to use really depend on how you like playing. so look around read the info on the mods. remember before applying any mod, MAKE A BACKUP COPY of your game files. just in case the mod isn't exactly what you'd hope it would be. this is the short verion of what mods to use. hopefully people here who are smarter then me :p will add to this list and let you know the best way to improve your MVP experience.

Welcome to the site, good luck, and happy gaming.

Alright I got everything except I couldnt find the MLB 07 patch now could I find the latest modles update.

Sorry to be such a noob but im still learning this site so if you guys could either post a link or something that would be great.

Both are over at www.eamods.com

Ok, I think Maestro was implying I'm impatient and don't know how to use the search function...lol. Actually, though SH....if you haven't don't it already. Take about a 1/2 hour and skim through all of the mods in the DL section and see what fits to your taste and time constraints. It's worth the time.

No daflyboys, that was NOT aimed at you. It was general statment.

Alright guys got both.

Now another question, for example a stadium like new Busch that wasnt around when MVP first came out, does the 07 Mod take care of that or do I need to download the Busch Stadium mod by Pirate seperately?

This post has all the stadiums modded by Pirate, Big-O, etc.. Look for the post by Pirate about half-way down thread. He has supplied links.

Welcome to the site by the way.

do yourself a favor: search for 'paulw' and download everything. Then put them in the minor league parks (stadium folder, names like aa03nite.big, aa01nite.big, a001nite.big etc) slots, and enjoy.

Whenever I get otherwise bored with MVP, I load up two 1920s teams and slug it out at Forbes or Polo Grounds. Paul's work is easily my favorite in this community, and that's saying something, considering what Pirate, Big O, MarlinsMY, CC and everyone else does.
