RmembrZito75
Can there be a mod done that can make trades more fair? I know there was a trade analyzer, but that was unsuccessful. If anyone has any suggestions, comments, or even wants to make this mod go right ahead. Thanks in advance.
Dasda
Yes that would be cool. Itz almost impossible to trade top 100 prospects in middle of a season to get a solid veteran like in real life.
maddux31
What about also adding the option of including cash and/or draft picks? This would be totally awesome if it were possible!!

dannyt
Yes, I don't like the fact that I can't ever trade a player who is better in skill for a player who has a smaller salary. The computer won't trade unless the price difference is on their side, at least in my experience. It does it down to the dollar too, bugs. So this mod would be awesome. RaptorQuiz
You know... if you have a trade that you honestly feel would be acceptable in real life, you can just turn off fair trades, make the trade, then turn them back on.
GEOLINK
yeah but Raptor... wouldn't feel fair in side of us.
Dasda
Lol YEah. I stopped doing what raptor said. Its pretty easy to get guys that go on trade block though. Get them. Tip: make trades in the offseason. Just sign free agents and trade them for who you want. Computer makes alot of trades in the offseason.
bbwinnow
MLB doesn't allow draft pick trades, so don't try that.

Yeps, never tried this before till I decided to make spring training for real in the second year of my Mets dynasty, btw, they were WS Champions. After the season was over I lost for retirement a bunch of them: El Duque, Glavine, M. Alou, J. Franco (finally), I didn't wanted to resign the likes of Valentin for a bunch of $$$$ also just give Green a 1Yr/6Mill (he was asking for 4Yrs) and took it, so at the end I didn't have a starter second baseman, and one starter outfielder, as well as two starting pitchers. The Free Agent Market was the "Flea Market" n-o-t-h-i-n-g worth on it. So I went with what I had.....after re-signing everyone I wanted, still had 50mill. free of the budget and no place to spend it :headache: ! The CPU signed a bunch of players for making my rosters full, no 39yrs old scum 2Mill/4yrs. thanks god. Spring trainning started and I was like NO HAPPY AT ALL with a cheap C.Burke in second, B. Johnson on left and Chavez on right, so, I decided to try to trade for those on my "wish list" just to see ... oh boy it worked, with fair trades ON, I did trade BJ Upton for Lasting Milledge, and B. Johnson+A. Burgos for Delmon Young, so I got my 2nd baseman and my outfielder, the ones I wanted BTW, I am very happy playing all the spring training games, I have a younger team, lots of speed, contact and hey power didn't got any pitcher just added A. Miller which I got last season by a trade I can't just remember who I gave to get him :yernuts: , so my rotation: RHP P. Martinez LHP O. Perez RHP John Maine RHP M. Pelfrey LHP A. Miller My Lineup: SS J. Reyes RF D. Young 3B D. Wright 1B C. Delgado CF C. Beltran LF S. Green C P. Lo Duca 2B B.J. Upton Pitcher.
erf305
Before I trade I turn off budgets so that they computer trades off talent alone. Atleast the trades are a little more realistic.
