Nooo after 2 years of having MVP 2005

and i dont remember one thing on how to change everything the right way. of course i checked Kraw's thread to find the write config but they all dont work. For some reason my start button doesnt work anymore instead its left thumbstick, and all the menus have changed and I just feel lost right now:(.IT all got erased because my 360 controller program told me to update an did and when i went to play all the controller config got effed up. I also searched but i didnt get the right stuff i was looking for Im just really looking for how to make th estart button actually pause the game instead of left thumbstick.

add this to your controller.cfg file it should do the trick.

i just added it but nothing different. was i suppose to delete the other configuration or still keep it there?

i would delete the old config. all i did for mine was copy that in there and it worked.

its probably really too late to answer you but you go to my documents then inside it should have a folder that says MVP Baseball 2005.....

Also Hoops when i put in the config nothing changed all th ebuttons are still the same the X pitch doesnt even pitch

hmm that worked for me. do a search on the forums and i think there was a thread about this done which will have some more answers.

for the past 3 hours iv searched just about every thread and tested all the configs but it seems that every time i change the configs the buttons never change but instead reset...The problem i have is that

1.X Button doesnt pitch instead brings up quick screen

2.I cant switch the Quick screen to open up by pressing R2

3.Cant get fake throw to be RB

4.I cant get the pickoff button to be LB

5.I cant get the Start button to be the pause menu instead of L3

May sound too obvious, but have you reset your controller config to default through the Control Panel applet? Sounds like the config might be set in your registry. Logitech has a removal tool on their website that clears all controller configurations from the registry. But then I'm not an x-box user so I may be way off base.

Contol Panel>Game Controllers>if the 360 is listed, highlight>Properties>look for reset to default (I'm using Vista now so I'm running on memory for XP or 98). This is just what I would do first if the MVP controller config file that you are tweaking isn't working. Or, download and clear all of your controller configurations from the registry with the Logitech tool and start clean. This is the more sure option.

Better yet, shell out twenty bucks for a Logitech Dual Action if you can. It's plug N' play.
