VTek33 Posted July 2, 2007 Share Posted July 2, 2007 I've installed tons of faces using Kraw's tool but for some reason Okajima's is not working for me. He's still got one of the default 900 faces. I went into MVPedit and made sure the number for his face is right and even changed it to a different one, then back to the correct one and exported it to the database. redsox Posted July 3, 2007 Share Posted July 3, 2007 If you exported the .DAT files from MVPEdit (after you made the changes) to your DATA folder, the changes will affect only newly started dynasties. The reason the face didn't change is because you haven't changed the face ID in your current dynasty. You would need to use TyWiggins importer/exporter to grab the .DAT files from your current dynasty, import them into MVPEdit, make your ID changes and then use the importer/exporter program again to get those .DAT files back into your current dynasty. Also, check out the importer/exporter thread. You will probably be able to learn a lot more. I must have thought it would work because I've installed faces for other teams but since I didn't have a dynasty with those teams, the face would change. redsox: yeah, I've tried using ty's importer/exporter before to try and fix a career stat issue with an old dynasty but I screwed it up. Hopefully with this I can get it to work. I'll just make sure to back everything up. redsox Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 Its always a good decision to backup files that you will be editing. Backing up the "MVP 2005 My Documents" folder would be a good thing to do as well. The thing is, if something does get messed with a models.big file or uniforms set or anything else for that matter, you can always re-install the game but if something gets messed up with your sav files, then you are most likely going to loose your dynasty.
