I think i just went my farthest wtih a no hitter which I lost in the 6th inning. Ended up giving up 3 hits (2 in 6th and 1 in 9th..bonds only hit of the game other than his 2 strikeouts *grin*) Guess you can say Barry..who?

I was playing as the Pirates against the Giants (obviously), had Tom Gorzelanny pitching for me against Barry Zito, definitely a pitching duel. I won 2-0.

Gorzelanny went the distance wtih only 3 hits and 8 SO, nothing else! (ya no balls)

Hit 2 solo shot which basically won the game, one with Jason Bay and one monster shot, prolly my farthest one in a game as well with Josh Phelps at 466 feet, nice! Dang now I know why i miss Phelps when he played as the Jays (except for his sucky strikeouts and low batting average)

I didn't realize I had no hitter going until the scorecard came up in mid 5th..of course that ruined it

No hitters are just as rare here as they are in the real world. Batting a cycle seems to be an easier acheivement. Of course it's all dependent on your game settings.

I've never hit for the cycle, and I have I think two no-nos.

Just to let JaFFitH know, when you are talking about a pitchers stat line, typically you refer to them as "walks", not "balls". I find it extremely doubtful that your pitcher had no balls, but no walks is possible.

 well ya I was kinda tired from a long day of work so ya my head's twisted :p, but hey, it's possible for the pitchers to have no balls.......god hope that doesn't happen to me :toothless: *covers my crotch* :p

Oh ya someone asked me for the boxscores..too lazy to print screen and crap, so nope I don't have it. I had a long day like i said above so I wasn't in the mood to do a bit extra work.

IIn my current dynasty I have lost a no-no in the ninth twice. One the day after Randy threw my perfect game.

It really is a thrill to do it in the game. I was jumping up and down and my wife just laughed at me.

I brought 2 into the 9th inning, with 2 outs, and both times, Jeff Conine broke both of them up. One time I brought one into the 11th with Kris Benson, but I just couldn't score. Finally they get a hit off me.

I feel for you trust me I've lost so many no hitters and perfect games and each time the same guy breaks it up. Todd Helton is the bane of my existence on MVP. But eventually I threw a no no with Barry Zito against D-Lowe and I didnt realize until the 9th Inning with a 0-0 score and the Dodgers bring in Saito and Bonds steps up and blasts a 450 ft shot in to center field and Zito came in and nearly blew it 2 times but I eventually struck out Olmeado Seanz for the win. I was so excited I took my macbook over and took a shot of the the tv

lol Roger Clemens to me is the greatest pitcher I can use in MVP, for some strange reason every batter swings at a low splitter on any 2 strike count. it NEVER fails

Ya, I always go for low curve or splitter, or even a sinker (if it has a good drop) when i'm at 2 strikes, i'd try and throw it off the zone on purpose, works just fine for me. Just don't throw it too low, just low enough :toothless:
