ChadRogers
I have searched and searched, sorry all. I can't seem to be able to open them up. Excel says it's in an unrecognizable format and word it just shows up as jibberish. I have the 2007 mod and I am having a ball, however I'd like to find a way to play without the "homerun" swing style of play. I'd like to hit HR's on 0-2 pitches and not just on 2-0 when I guess up and in etc. Perhaps it's as simple as a user power rating issue which I now have at -20 and am getting pretty accurate results, but I'd like to dig around in it a little and compare some files. I'd also like to fiddle with a couple of pitching issues, first there are too many pitchers in my roster set(not sure which one I used in the 07 install) that throw in the very high 90's/100 mph, it's nuts. Thanks in advance, Chad

ChadRogers
I have downloaded many and I get the same message on all, are you using Excel to view them?
Maestro23
You will need to decompress the datafile first, then open the file up in a text editor. Need a program like eazip or DFComp. If you don't know your way around a datafile, I would suggest taking a look at two things: 1. RRodkey's Datafile Tutorial: http://www.mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=161.html 2. Snepp's Datafile.txt Layout Spreadsheet: http://www.mvpmods.com/Downloads/details/id=149.html 3. eazip: http://www.eamods.com/index.php?name=Downl...e=details&id=51 *The datafile.txt file for the 07 mod, is inside the datafile.big Good luck and have fun. ChadRogers
Thanks Maestro, just what I needed. I did get the RRodkey's and Snepp's, but without a way to look at the data file they did me no good. Chad

ezdriver
I use a program called Comparit to look at DF contents. You can get it here: http://www.grigsoft.com/ Hope it's what you're looking for. ez
