Cavicchi
I used MVP 2005 Editor to put Randy Johnson out with an injury and while the game lists him out with an injury, he is still in the stating rotation. So, is there any way in my dynasty to put a player on the DL list or just out with an injury?
ronmexico
In MVPEdit, you have to move him out of the rotation also, not just place him on the DL.

stEdfuNk
Try using MVPEditor I think that affects dynasties, but I'm not sure
Cavicchi
Try using MVPEditor I think that affects dynasties, but I'm not sure I used MVP Editor and it puts the player out but in the game the player is still playing. The game lists him as out with an injury but he's still in the rotation.

redsox
MVP Edit doesn't affect a dynasty. It does, if you use it with Tywiggins importer/exporter program.

Cavicchi
I figured it out using MVP Editor's Team Changer, but I screwed up in the process by clicking on Projector and it changed all the stats. Looks like I'll have to start over unless there is a way to fix it.

Edam
I don't think that you can now, but a good practice is to always have a backup of anything that will be affected by changes from the various mods and also your MVP Baseball 2005 folder located in My Documents. Once you have the game working the way you like it, backup the entire folder plus MVP Baseball 2005 in My documents to a DVD.

Cavicchi
http://www.mvpmods.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=...ats+messed.html Since this was the first season of my dynasty, I don't see a need to do what is suggested in the thread. I should be able to copy my current roster as if it was just downloaded and replace the one that was originally there. The fix in that thread still requires a new season and stats. at least that's how it looks to me. Anyway, I appreciate your help, and I have learned a lesson :-) Actually, I paid a price but I now know how to keep Manny Ramirez out of a series against my Yankees :biglaff:

Only takes a couple of seconds and can save heartache down the road. Good luck man.

Only takes a couple of seconds and can save heartache down the road. Good luck man. Thanks! I was only into late April so not so bad starting over. I do backup my dynasty about once a week, and I could go back to perhaps a week into my dynasty, but I learned a lesson during the negotiations starting my dynasty and probably best to start over--I was left with just around 7 million dollars in the budget! Oh, those greedy ballplayers were taking advantage of my generous nature ;-) Hey, really great to have you here helping people as you do. :salute:
