gobluen07
in my last simulated season a couple of players seemed to be on the juice. im using seattle and ichiro hit 36 dingers! i only played about ten games out of the season and i never hit one with him. i also noticed that some other players who probably never hit more than 10 or 15 homers in a season, guys like nook logan and kaz matsui hitting 30 plus homeruns. i was wondering if anyone else has seen this in their dynasties and is there a way to fix it. im using ron mexicos progression mod but i dont know if that has anything to do with it. Borgi
is there a way to make the progression not so high for hitters? i appreciate what ronmexico did, but i think hitters progress WAY to much....also pitchers who are five stars need to progress a bit more than they do, guys like bailey

Borgi
Thanks Ron....I think the progression for young hitters is fine, they improve very well. I think that guys who are hitting 29 shouldnt be improving anymore like they do. Some guys will go up 10 power points at 29, and that needs adjusting. The older players degress fine, if thats a word. I also think that young pitchers never seem to become great. The guys like Hughes and Bailey never seem to become great starters in my experiences. They will have a fastball that goes up one rating per season, but the other pitches dont seem to become dominant. I think hitters should progress rapidly until 26, then just barely until 28, and then from 29-32 stay around or go down just a tiny bit. That is really my only complaint, I have having franchises where Willy Taveras wins a silver slugger with 25 homeruns. The power increases for guys like him were to great. Ichiro, Pierre and Taveras always seem to become 25 homeruns a year hitters after 1-2 season of progression. I really appreciate you taking time to listen. ronmexico
Well the Ichiro thing I can't explain because he's 34 years old so that shouldn't be happening. Also, I can't control what pitches go up and down, they just go up or down a certain amount. The other stuff I should be able to account for.
