seanzarelli
Finally, after playing the MVP series since MVP 2003, I have finally thrown a perfect game with Taylor Buchholz of the Rockies. So far in my young season (6 games), Buchholz has been completely dominant. After coming in for Aaron Cook who got injured 7 pitches in, in the first game of the season, Buchholz threw 6 innings of 4 hit ball while striking out 6 and not giving up a run. He got a no decision in that game though as the bullpen blew it in the 9th. And then in his first full start, taking over in Cook's place as the Ace of the team, he goes out and throws a perfect game against the San Diego Padres and also recorded 8 strikeouts as well as his first win of the season. If Buchholz can keep up this style of play, there is no doubt I will be using him as my Ace as my other pitchers have kinda struggled. I wish I would have had Fraps running so I could record the final out of the game. Rob Bowen came in to pinch hit, and hit a medium speed grounder to the gap towards Troy Tulowitzki. Tulowitzki was able to pick it up and even though his momentum was carrying him towards 3rd base he threw across his body and the diamond to nail Bowen right as he was coming down on 1st base. RmembrZito75
Nice finish man and congratulations on the perfect game. It's hard to believe that a mid-level prospect could have accomplished such a feat. Nevertheless, great job! :)

seanzarelli
Zito: It's weird, I usually tend to do better with the lower talented pitchers than I do top pitchers, but yeah, it's even hard for me to believe I did it with Buchholz. Sully: Thanks, and Kip Wells, who would think he'd ever throw one too, haha. Tribe: Most definitely. In fact, I had probably 5-6 full counts in the game. Pirate
It's a great feeling isn't it. I was so happy when i got mine. It was as though I was part of an exclusive club of internet geeks who love baseball and get excited over virtual no-hitters... and I couldn't have been happier. Mezza76
Nice work... I bet you had some nervous moments in the 9th... you really start to second guess what to throw.
