New York (AP)- After a horrid road trip, the Mets looked to rebound against the struggling Braves. And they did just that. In the bottom of the first, Beltran. Wright, Delgado and Nady all homered back to back to back. The Mets would later get a 9-0 lead.

Tom Glavine wins number 294, But wasnt sharp at all, he tired out fast and gave up 7 runs on 5 hits. But the Mets bats backed him up, sorta like "Ham and egging it" today. The Braves couldnt touch Joe Smith as he saved it for the first time in his career, and go on to win 10-8

April23rdrecap2.jpg

New York (AP)- Mark Prior made his first start as a Met, It went well..well until the 9th inning. Willie kept Prior in for the 9th, with a 7-0 lead and every bad opinion that overlooked him, were about to come to light. They got hit after hit until it all went away with Matt Diaz hit a 3 run double that gave Atlanta the lead 8-7, Mike Gonzalez got the save and the Mets lose a heartbreaker 8-7

April24threcap.jpg

New York (AP)-- The Mets were just outright awful today. Oliver Perez lost his cool in the 6th inning, giving up 5 runs on 14 hits. The Mets bats were silent today only pulling out 5 hits, and 4 runs. The big blow was Edgar Renteria's Grand Salami, in the 5-run fifth. Wil Ledezma shuts the door and the Mets drop the rubber game 10-4

New York (AP) - The Mets struggles continue ,as they face the Rockies. Josh Fogg went for the Rox, While John Maine went for the Mets. Things didnt look pretty, as Maine gave up 4 runs in the first inning. 3 by a Todd Helton 3-run bomb, followed by a Garrett Atkins homer. Atkins would homer twice. Even Josh Fogg hit a home run . The Mets are "Ham and egging it" This time it was the pitching does bad, But the hitting is ok. Brian Fuentes shut the door,as the Mets fall to the Rox 11-5

April27threcapgm1.jpg

New York (AP) -- How can it be, such a good team is losing such easy games. The Mets played the Rockies on a sogy day at Shea Stadium. Pedro Martinez went for the Mets as Aaron Cook went for the Rox. The Mets attacked first with a 5-0 lead. Pedro Martinez was keeping the Mets in the game, until he got hurt. Martinez threw a pitch to Todd Helton and was nodding his head in anguish on the mound. He was taken out with a pulled hammy. Jorge Sosa came on to relieve. This is when everything came down. Aaron Heilman came in to pitch the 8th, when the Rox attacked him and Joe Smith for 5 runs in the 8th and 3 runs in the 9th to give the Rox a 9-5 win over the Mets.

April27threcapgm2.jpg

New York (AP)-- The Mets wanted to close April with a bang, and they did just so. The Mets finally beat the Rockies 6-2. Coming on clutch hits and a stellar pitching performance by Tom Glavine. Glavine pitched a complete game, giving up only 2 runs and 13 hits. While the Mets bats were hot today. Carlos Beltran, Carlos Delgado, Lastings Milledge and Marlon Anderson all homered for the Mets, While Endy Chavez brought in Jose Reyes with a bunt base hit. I dont hit a lot of home runs, i just get locked in sometimes, or the pitcher hangs it and i get lucky

Beltran has 18 in 22 games. Delgado has 12 I think I saw. 18 in 22 games is a lot. Maybe lower the power settings?
