Donovan
My slider are default. I am 10 - 0 playing as a Rookie in my StL dynasty. Most scores have been around 5 - 2 or 7 -3 I played an exibition game against Atlanta as a Pro and lost 8 - 1. My one run was because they left Smoltz in till the 9th. I don't want a major overhaul to my sliders but only a handful and adjust the gameplay. My OF skills suck, but I will never get better if I don't play manual. Any adjustments reccomendations will be appreciated.
evil1182
You play on Rookie and only score 7 runs? I play on rookie sometimes to increase my stats and score 30-35 runs. Try playing on All-star it's more of a challenge.
Donovan
I'd rather play at my skill level. I must have popped out at least 15 times on Pro. Should I play at Rookie but increase CPU sliders for more of a challenge, or play at Pro and decrease CPU sliders so I can win a few?
Guildster
Here's my two cents... Keep playing Rookie set at default, but set your outfield to automatic. Play at least half a season concentrating on pitching, hitting, base stealing and strategy. At half a season you should have a much better feel for how to adjust your sliders and I'm sure you will want to step up to at least Pro with assisted OF. Be patient with this game. You are going to lose as many games as you win more or less if you are being honest.
stEdfuNk
i'd say try messing with sliders, if youre hitting too much, lower hitting etc, or even play on pro, and up stuff
lautrec
I think one of the best things you should do, is stay on Rookie - but continue to make the necessary slider adjustments, such as: If you are really dominating at pitching, just keep making the meter harder and your pitcher control worse. Same thing will apply with hitting. The beauty of this game is, you can adjust for a long time. I've had MVP05 since it came out, and with the AWESOME data files, game mods, MVP 06 and 07, and the sliders, it's still like a new game for me, AND I'm still playing on All-Star,,, MVP just is TOO difficult! Good luck
