mooseknucks
Just thought this would be an interesting topic ... mine's gotta be Andy Hawkins (a yankee) throwing a no-hitter and losing 4-0 or 2-0 i forget, but that's both a once in a lifetime and a comical moment, or the one handed wonder throwing a no-hitter
Guest
Losing throwing a No-No is always funny.
KerryW
I'm still yet to throw a no-hitter in the game....I've had one with Zambrano on Allstar going into the 9th, but of course I ended up blowing it....
bone
my most memorable one was the first one, it was a kerry wood perfect game. after having had many busted up late, i thought it couldn't happen.
KerryW
Kerry Wood throwing a perfect game, huh? That's nothing unusual... :D
mooseknucks
i've thrown no-no's with El Duque on all star more than once, with no sliders, i find the key is keeping the ball low in the zone and throwing curves and other breaking balls down at the knees, it's quite affective, i've also thrown a no-no with Mark Prior but this thread was meant for real life lol
bone
but this thread was meant for real life lol  doh! i thought you meant the game  i've never seen a no-hitter in real life, not even on tv.

NickD
Closest no no I saw on TV I believe was Eric Milton's bid that got broken up by the Cubs in the top of the 9th with 1 out not too long ago. I might of seen one before that, but since I don't recall I'll asume i'm wrong there. I saw Pedro's perfect game into the 10th on ESPN classic once ;-)
MarlinsFan
In the game i have pitched 8 no-hitters(3 being perfect) But putting the tread is about real baseball i'll go with, "Gives up no hits but walks nine!" cybernetic
I've thrown about 3 in the game.. one with Roy Halladay.. one with Sean Douglass and one with McGowan I think
TobiasLS
I am the Jays and Halladay is hurt in a game. At the end of the day I have to DL him and I bring up Vinnie Chulk from Syracuse. I put him in the starting rotation and the very next game his turn is up. Did I mention he had just pitched the AAA game the day before? He started the game at 44%. I just wanted him to go 5 innings and, well he went the full 9 against the Red Sox and won the game 3-0 and yes it was a NO-NO... my first ever!!! Chickybomag14
Jason Schmit no-no vs the braves. I could not believe it until the 8th inning came around and i saw a 0 in the H colum for them. It was my first and only so far and i play all the time. probaseball203
i once saw....alex fernandez wen he was on the marlins, have a perfecto until the last at bat, and the damn shortstop dropped a flyball..... how stupid is that? i saw johnson with a no no and then give up a homer in the 9th and lose...i saw johnson's perfect game...and in the game, i threw a perfect game with Russ Ortiz on allstar.... i tried fooling the batter a lot by throwing sum pitches out of the strikezone, and it works mostly... Mutombo
I liked the one where Jose Jimenez, when with the Cardinals, faced Randy Johnson and threw a no-hitter where the Cards won 1-0. Then 2 weeks later, he faced off with Randy Johnson again and threw a 2-hitter! Jimenez was never the same after that, lol.
Jymbo05
Saw Chris Bosio's No-No in person at the Kingdome. The one that almost was though was Eric Hansen pitching a perfect game into the 9th with 2 outs against the Oakland A's and Ken Phelps taking him deep to lose the perfect game, no hitter, and shutout in one swing.
