el_jefe061
Vick Indicted I really am surprised. First, I was surprised they said they didn't have enough evidence to indict, now I'm surprised they actually indicted him. Personally, I think dogfighting is a horrible thing and that Michael Vick is a scumbag. I hope he gets the Pacman treatment and gets suspended then gets some sort of jail sentence. I'm also happy this opens up the path for a Joey Harrington comeback.
lautrec
I agree that illegal activity should be punished. Whether or not there is an issue on the morality of dogfighting, we shouldn't be swayed by the political expediency of an emotional response on either side. Rather, we should view this breaking of the law (should Vick be convicted) in the same light as ANY illegal activity. Possession of narcotics, including marijuana. Illegal trafficking of contraband, including non-taxed cigarettes. Dogfighting. These are all illegal things in most parts of this country, and as such, the penalty must be paid if one violates these. If Vick was/is guilty, he should suffer the consequences. krawhitham
They should kick him out of the league if convicted
gobluen07
im not really suprised that he was indicted i kinda figured that he would be. I knew his "family" members who were staying in the house would not go down without takin vick with them. I think that dogfighting is a disgusting thing to do and i certainly hope he gets the pacman treatment. To hear some of the ways they killed some of the dogs makes me absolutely sick to my stomach and i really hope he gets everything he deserves. bet ya they wish the would have kept matt schaub
DoubleD
Rot in hell, scumbag. I'm a huge dog person, already own 3 german shepherds and plan to get more. And that **** just really ****ing pisses me off. Not just fighting to the death, but the treatment outside of the fights that those dogs get is what really gets me. ****ing horrible. Worse part is knowing that all he will probably get is a ****ing fine...which for most people would be huge to pay off, but for a football player with the largest NFL contract in history, NOT SO MUCH. Homer
I'm a huge dog person man, i really could've ran with this one... but given the tone of this thread i won't. just wanted to say that this could have a funny connotation but completely agreed. it's quite pathetic. we'll have to see what kind of slap on the wrist he's gonna get. He's definitely going to get a slap on the wrist, prob. just a fine with probation and of course no jail time.

phxsuns
I hope he gets suspended. Wouldn't mind not seeing him in the league. If suspended then Falcon fans have no reason to go games and that will hurt the team more than this dog fighting case.

D-Unit
What a piece of s***. I have a dog, I can't imagine doing the things Vick is being indicted for. Kick his a** out of the NFL for good.

Could not have said it better myself. And if the NFL lets Vick continue playing if convicted, then the same goes for them. Anyone who would treat any animal that way is a piece of crap excuse for a human being.
fred13
There has to be some sort of punishment for him by the NFL. Goodell is to much of a hardass to let this go. Anyway, I hope Vick goes to jail and becomes someone's *****. I'm sick of that *****.
seanzarelli
Well, one of Vick's co-defendant's pleaded guilty to the charges and stated that... “The ’Bad Newz Kennels’ operation and gambling monies were almost exclusively funded by Vick,†With this guy claiming that the dogfighting was financed almost entirely by Vick, does Vick see some time? Or because of his superstar status, do the other two people get prison and him getting just a nice sized fine and slap on the wrist?

I think he'll get the Paris Hilton, Michael Jackson treatment prob. just probation, hefty fine, and suspended for one year from the NFL, there's now way he'll get jail time, even though I think he should rot in hell like the piece of **** that he is.
