slickmetal25 Posted July 18, 2007 Share Posted July 18, 2007 I had some issues with MVP 2007 with my AMD 64 x2 5400+ machine, w/ Nvidia 7950 GT and 4gig RAM. Sometime it would play normal, or a little fast. Then at times it was BLAZING! I thought it was due to me raising the resolution up all the way... I couldn't even see a 90+ fastball being pitched - breaking pitches broke so fast I thought it was a boomerang. Also when pitching in PRO or ALLSTAR, the pitch meter was 5x faster than in MVP mode, therefor not being able to get a soild good pitch off. The solution was like the rest, open up the Task Manager, goto Processes and right click on the mvp2005 exe and set Affinity to just one of the CPUs and it solved the problem. Is there a way to automatically set affinity in XP for a certain .EXE? I tried a search for this but theres so much garbage that comes up in the search function. Forgot about that...maybe thats it, to hold me at 60 FPS instead of the hundreds....sucks that you can't change screen Res or other options while in a game already.
