tinpanalley
I've looked for help on this and can't make any sense out of it. Can someone help me explain why I can't relay-throw or throw to a cut-off man? I press the buttons and nothing. I have a Logitech controller. This is causing one inside-the-park HR per game and it's driving me nuts.
MrDudleyDoWright
Where L1 would be on a PS2 controller
phxsuns
If it is a Logitech Dual Action, it is button 8. If you are pressing that and nothing is happening, the only thing that I could think of is that there is something wrong with your controller. tinpanalley
The controller is about 3 months old. There's nothing wrong with it. Any other suggestions?
maxbjr
check your controller config to make sure button 8 (or whatever button you want) to set for relay throwing
tinpanalley
Yeah, I've done that.
Maestro23
Have you never been able to hit the cutoff man at all? What is the button sequence that you use?
tinpanalley
Maestro, I've actually thought of this, you may have a point. Can someone explain how the cutoff and relay are supposed to be used? I may be doing it wrong and not realizing it.

I may be doing it wrong and not realizing it. First, you hit the button of the base you want to throw to. Then after that you hit the cutoff button. phxsuns
...or you can just hit the cutoff button. Both ways will work.
tinpanalley
Neither is working. Updated my Logitech software, remapped my buttons, tried my controller in a different game and all the buttons work perfectly.
tinpanalley
Hey again, guys. I hate to say it but this still isn't working for me. In fact, when I throw back to the infield and then try to cutoff or relay, the infielder actually steps OUT of the way! Does anyone out there with a Logitech Dual Action have this problem? How do you have your defensive buttons mapped?
