drizz
Things get worse and worse for this nfl superstar by the day. On one hand you have peta and many other organization groups boycotting the nfl if they dont take action agaisnt vick right away. On the other you have his sponsors immidiately closing down all future endorsements scheduled. I dont support in any way vicks crime. In fact animal cruelty has to come second place to a human murder. Vick is completely destroyed.
ronmexico
Despite my name, Michael Vick is a ******* *** **** sucking ****.
Guildster
I put Vick in the same category as wife beaters and child molesters. So should the NFL if he is convicted.
grasshopper
Vick wil play again. Probably this year. The hardest thing to convict is a NFL player under contract. According to PacMan Jones, the only way to get suspended is huff glue, kill your neighbor, rape your best friends girlfriend, and steal a car. Shooting back at the cops helps too. I agree, killing a dog is a huge predatory crime. Like raping kids. He'll still get off though.
ronmexico
O, I voted that he would play again, despite my hatred for him. I mean, the only way he wouldn't play again is if he got a good amount of jail time, atleast 3 years and then no one wanted him again, because he could proabably make an argument that he is reformed, but if it's 3 years, he'll already be 30 and that makes it less of a chance in my book. drizz
I heard 6 years atleast of prison time, think they said it on espn.
ronmexico
6 years prison time is if he is indicted on all charges. They never list the best case scenarios on the news :p
UncleMo
Um, ronmexico, you hate the guy and your login name is after him? The NFL is a big biz, and Arthur Blank has a lot invested in this player and the team. Vick will get off, or get in trouble with minor offenses, or maybe minor punishment. IF he is found guilty. IF. ronmexico
My login name was made at a time when ronmexico was a funny thing. OK, so he tells a woman he's Ron Mexico and gives her herpes, that doesn't compare in the least to this.
lautrec
I only wish the kind of outrage that has been displayed for innocent dogs could somehow find it's way to the daily massacre of innocent unborn babies.....sigh.
kinghernandez
This whole family is a mess. Vick is a grade A ***** and I can't stand him but he'll get off. I love how he talks about himself in the third person. He deserves to go to jail but so does O.J.

Sadly enough people care more about pets then they do about people. Never the less, if Vick is convicted of anything more than amazing stupidity, he sould serve prison time. Anyone who can do something this horrific to animals, isn't to far away from doing the same to people.
defender17
Emmit Smith is seriously trying to defend this guy. Maybe he went to a couple fights??? WHAT!!! He is charged with repeatedly body slamming a dog until it died and then soaking another dog in water and electrocuting it! Hey Emmit you were a great running back but like the old saying goes: "It's better to remain silent and let others think of you the fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Guildster
Are you serious? You're honestly making that comparison? I'll stand by that comparison. People who commit the crimes Vic is accused of are the same people that as kids pulled the wings off flys, drove nails through lizards, lit cats on fire, etc. These people have no moral conscious and because of that they are capable of anything... take OJ for instance. Do you think someone who soaks a dog in water and then electrocutes it, or body slams a dog to the floor to kill it is doing that out of business expediency? No. They do it because they enjoy the power of killing another living being. They are sick MFers and need to be dealt with accordingly.
MarlinsMS_35
Of course if Vick was playing for the Marlins he would get suspended, but not miss a start........... (referring to the Scott Olsen dilemma)
