A Houston Astros CAP Dynasty

[D-Unit]

CAP Dynasties are all the rage right now, and I've been influenced to start one of my own with the Houston Astros. I will put it all together and actually start the dynasty in about a month, I don't want to try and begin playing before I go on my two week vacation to Vegas.

But there is a catch that makes this one different: the points will be limited depending on the roster spots. The number of points permitted will be next to where the players listed will be. For example, catchers will get 20 more points than normal to allow more points to their fielding, since their throwing arm and strength are more vital than some other positions. The bench players will obviously receive less points since they are bench players, it wouldn't be that fair to give them the same attributes as starters. The ace will get more points than the other starters, and as the rotation moves down, the pitchers will receive reasonably less points to make it more realistic. Reliever also have less points, since their stamina doesn't have to be as high as starters, with the exception of relievers.

(NOTE: It would be a good idea to maybe make your player a one-sided hitter if on the bench, maybe a great lefty hitter or a great righty hitter, speedster, slick fielder, etc.)

NOTE: Post all attributes on a 1-100 scale. If you don't add the number of points together correctly, I will not accept the application and will reward that spot to the first person to apply the points correctly.

NOTE: For pitchers, pitch velocity does not apply to the attribute total.

Here's a suggestion that you could implement into this dynasty. Say for instance, if a player goes on a tear and is on a 10-game hitting streak, we could probably allot a set number of points (5?) to be added to any of the hitting aspects. Likewise, say a pitcher has won 5 games in a row, a set number of points will be awarded and can be added to any of the pitching features, for reaching the milestone.

We could do this with base-running, appearance, hitting streaks, no BB being allowed, not striking out for a long duration, etc...

Of course, we could also incorporate negative points, when say a player goes 0-15 or something similar. And for pitcher, if he loses a set number of games in a row, or walks a lot of batters, etc...

I do think this will be something that could get tiresome, but just wanted to suggest this idea. What do you think?
