WVU9
Ok, someone help me out. I just installed the MVP 07 patch (which is awesome, if you don't have it, go get it) and decided that I would change my pitching camera so I'm looking from behind the pitcher in at the catcher. Then I noticed something wacky... The catcher, in between pitches, goes down on one knee. Now, I played 2 years of little league, 3 years of Babe Ruth, 4 years of varsity baseball, 5 years of Legion ball, 3 years of MAJOR D1 college baseball and pitched all of those years and never once did my catcher ever get down on one knee between pitches. I've taken to looking for it during MLB games on ESPN and whatnot and they don't do it there either. What a silly thing to have in such a great game. Thoughts? kgbaseball
Video game catchers need to save their knees, too.
NYM
I catch occasionally and if my legs are feeling a little stiff I usually get up and throw it to the pitcher. I never got down on one knee.
59FIFTY
The catchers don't use kneesavers, and i've seen kendall just sit on 1 knee when he catches a standard pitch xD
WVU9
Yeah, but that's DURING a pitch... with no one on base (Tony Pena made this famous in the 80's). I just feel like I should give video game Veritek a stool to sit on when I see him slouching like that!
