ataris812
Does anybody else have the problem where your batter hits one to the wall, usually for a double, and the computer misplays it at the wall, resulting in an error and the runner going to 3rd, but the error call doesn't give you a hit? It should be a double with the error allowing the runner to advance to 3rd. It seems to happen to me a lot with balls hit out to Tal's hill in Houston. Is there a way to fix this, or am I stuck with it? It's just a little complaint. fenway389
Same thing happens at Fenway when a ball rolls to the deepest corner. Almost always gets "misplayed" and gets called an error instead of a hit. Just one of the aggravations about the game we have to put up with. stljeffbb
Yes...in a game recently, my pitcher (Steve Sparks) had only thrown about 35 pitches through 7 innings (EDIT: unusually low, even for MVP 2005), but then he gave up two hits and a walk to load the bases...then, another batter hit the ball to my third baseman (Inge), but he refused to step on third (automatic fielding)! Instead, he waited a couple of seconds, then tried to throw to first, but the batter was safe....not quite an error, but close enough....grrrr Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/30898-annoying-error-calls/#findComment-440792 Share on other sites
mvp23
Oh man, I got similar problem. My bunt hits don`t count as hits; I would bunt with Furcal or Pierre and on the hit chart there would be likea black circle and it something like runner on 3rd out ( something like that) Link to comment https://www.mvpmods.com/forums/topic/30898-annoying-error-calls/#findComment-440796 Share on other sites
