YankeesForever
I'm a client (here) of Scott Boras. He likes what I've got, and given you a fat contract to accept or decline. Wants: Signing Bonus (we are rookies after all...) 2 Million Signing bonus Contract Worth: 3 Years: 8.90 Million (1st year), 10.4 Million (2nd year), and 13.2 Million (3rd Year). Mutual (15.3M) option for 2010; automatically kicks if I make the top 10 in etither Cy Young or MVP during these 3 years. Incentives: 600K incentive kicks in if I make 55 appearances, 500K incentive kicks in if I get 10 saves, 900K incentive kicks in if I get 10 wins 400K incentive kicks in if 100K's are obtained in less than 75 IP 1M bonus for making the All-Star squad in San Fran. 200K bonus for a Gold Glove, DHL Delivery Man, or Sliver Slugger Award 700K if no-trade cluase is waived Optional right to get out of contract (after year 1) if Nationals Park is not ready by next year Full No-trade clause (I would perfer trades to [if we are out of it] the Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, and Padres.) Perks: Premium tickets to home and road games (if I get injured) Unlimited, free ballpark food Physical therapist, Massage therapist, 4 first-class round-trip airline tickets per year between Washington DC & and choice destinations, use of Lincoln Town Car or similar car, Nationals player ticket package, including 10 field box seats, team employee to assist directed-towards-me media, uniform No. 10, use of a Nationals suite at home games. I have authorized Boras to give you this deal. The most I can make on incentives is 4.3M (and I don't want to get traded, so likely no, on the waiving the no-trade.) (I got a lot of this contract stuff from real MLB contracts... Matsuzaka's is ridiculous, I only used some of his perks!)http://mlbcontracts.blogspot.com/ gives these facts. General Manager/Player: Ricky Blizzard "No way, I'm paying you 28 mill over 3 years. I'll offer you a 10.5 million dollar contract over 3 years with a 1.5 million dollar signing bonus. I'll pay you 3 mill for the first year and then 3.5 for the second year and 4.0 mill for the final year of your contract. Also, I'm going to offer you a player option to stay with the team for one more year where you will make 5.75 million dollars. I will let you have all the incentives, plus a no-trade clause. You're still a rookie, so I'm not sure how you're going to perform. You may be a client of Boras, but I'm not gonna give you a **** load of money if I haven't seen you play." Ghostrider
Kazmir, JoeSmith didn't have negatives, the "-" was just to separate the category from the number. Like this: Category - Number By the way, it would probably help to update your first post to show what positions are taken.
