redsox
It has to do with your screen resolution. If you set it anything above 800x600, you will not be able to alt+tab to the desktop while playing. I believe you can alt+tab when in the menu screens but not when you are actually playing the game. Hope this makes sense.
fred13
all you have to do is set your monitor refresh rate to 70.

redsox
And false. If you people don't know what you're talking about don't try to help someone. It can cause more problems for them. And irrelevant post such as yours doesn't help either. Besides if you are sure about the fact that what I said was wrong, please do correct me. I had only posted what I had experienced. As for as I know, I can't alt+tab out of the game when the in-game screen resolution is more than 800x600. But when my screen resolution was at 800x600 I was able to minimize the game.
Edam
Re-read the thread then. There were a number of possible solutions and you were corrected. And I think that pointing out false information is *very* relevant. If you don't like being wrong it's too bad.
stEdfuNk
I use 1280x1024 resolution for both desktop and games, and I cant minimize, I get that flashing A friend of mine uses 1024x768 and he can't minimize if he uses that same resolution for the game I changed my desktop resolution to 800x600 and my game resolution to that and I got the same flashing desktop, I told my friend to do the same and it had the same result Another friend of mine uses 1024x768 but uses 1280x1024 for the game, and he can minimize - there seems to be some truth to what i said

And I think that pointing out false information is *very* relevant. If you don't like being wrong it's too bad. Sure as hell not by you. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind people correcting me. I just felt what I had said was correct because that is what I had experienced. For me it worked when my resolution was set to 800x600. As Kraw and Maestro pointed out, it doesn't have to be on that set resolution. I then figured that it has to do with the type of monitor I have. Again, don't get me wrong. If anyone finds fault in what I said, I would be more than happy to be corrected. The reason I posted was to help the person with the problem and not for anything else.
