JP_Frost
Melky Cabrera is a solid player, but he doesn't have the potential any of these other guys have.
el_jefe061
Adam Jones or Jacoby Ellsbury? Wait... you mean both of those guys aren't in the Majors yet? Oh, well then it has to be Sizemore. I dare say Sizemore is the best Centerfielder in the game, and possibly the best all around player in the game. He does everything. I think after that it's Wells or Hunter. It's harder to judge Hunter's power numbers because he's in a contract year. I don't think he's going to hit like this all the time.
kgbaseball
Ichiro Hunter Granderson DeJesus Sizemore Wells Matthews Something like that. The last 4 are fairly interchangeable.
puckhogg
They all have had highlight plays made but Torii Hunter stands above the rest for me. That guy (along with everyone else) is amazing! I sure used to like Griffey out there before he moved to right.
Rafting_96
Melky Cabrera is a solid player, but he doesn't have the potential any of these other guys have. kgbaseball
They're nearly identical defensively, hence the "interchangeable" part. Go by the numbers, not reputation. You could argue that DeJesus has just about hit his peak, but Sizemore isn't even in his prime yet.

ro290190
They're nearly identical defensively, hence the "interchangeable" part. Go by the numbers, not reputation. You could argue that DeJesus has just about hit his peak, but Sizemore isn't even in his prime yet. DeJesus: 5HR, 43RBI,75R .280AVG, .365OBP, .401SLG, .990 FP Sizemore:18HR, 55RBI,81R, .275AVG, .385OBP, .467SLG, .993FP going by the numbers Sizemore clearly better. kgbaseball
God damnit, I was talking about their defensive abilities. Please go back and read the whole thread. My first list was overall, and then second list was defensive, after Rafting asked the "who's better defensively" question.

BashBrother
i'd take Vernon Wells first over any of them...the man is just pure grace when it comes to defense..never seen a player make the plays look so easy..just pure fluidness(if thats a word)..and no its not because i'm from Toronto..i watch every game i can for all teams and to me this guy shows grace...besides a player you would want in your clubhouse..met him a few times and the man is like your next door neighbour..a pure gentleman
pistonj92
I agree with KG. on overall and fielding. Ichiro is just a beast. I think he will finish the year leading the MLB in average. Magglio is just not doing it for me after the All Star break. He isn't invincible like he was back before july.
