Creating my own .mbe

I haven't been on here for a while, but everything looks great. I have a question about the .mbe file. I have my game exactly the way I want it, and I want to make my own .mbe file to open in MVPEdit. Is there a way to do this? Also, I have 07mod and the patches and updates that followed if that helps. Thanks guys.

mvpedit...use the export button to export from you database folder. it'll prompt you to save your mbe file somewhere.

But how do I open it in MVPEdit if I don't already have a .mbe file? What I mean is, what do I open in MVPEdit to export the .mbe?

You have to create the player in a dynasty or roster file first before you can make it into a .mbe file.

Then you use the export feature in MVPEdit. It will extract the information from the player you choose and convert that information into a file with the extension .mbe

That's just if I want to export a single player right? Is there a way to do it so I can export, and create my own roster file? Also, thanks for the help guys, sorry I'm a little slow.

You make the .mbe file. When you click on the "import" button it opens a window called "import dat files". You then double click on the "database" folder graphic you will see. Then click "ok". It will then open a window called "save mbe file" Enter a name for your .mbe file in the "file name" location in that window. (choose any name you prefer) Then click "save" & let the program do it's job. That's all there is to it.

sorry, is it actually the Import button and not the Export button? whichever. but yes, open up mvpedit. it's the only button highlighted for you to use. it'll prompt you to name and save the mbe file.

when i try to import the database file i get this:

Run-time error '3163':

The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data.

What does this mean?

Export is to export the .mbe file you have to the database. Import is to import the database files to the .mbe. Hence you need to import since you are making an .mbe file in the above case.
