RaysFTW
Hello, this is my second attempt at a dynasty. This one will feature the Atlanta Braves. My old one was trashed because all my parks were crashing and I had to reinstall MVP. I chose the Braves because they are a contender along with the New York Mets. The race in the National League should be a tight one for the whole year. The thing that will make it fun for the audience is just the playoff battle between the Braves and the Mets. I hope you enjoy this dynasty. Here are some of the things that will be featured in this dynasty: Roster: KGBaseball's Version 4.1 Uniforms: The Spungo/kccitystar Overlay: FOX/ ESPN Pitching Rotation Batting Lineup Transaction

MarkB
I guess you're not going for realism, then?

Bronx_Bum
Yes, I am. Is anyone gonna follow this? To be honest, I follow almost all the dynasties out there. My flavor goes towards realism though. Once I see some lopsided, unrealistic trade (doesn't matter if the computer accepts the trade) I tend to not follow so much. With that said, this is your dynasty, along with everyone else out there, and you gotta do what you gotta do to keep up with it. If it means robbing NY of Hughes, then so be it. Just stick with it. I'm sure I'll check in every now and again.
redsox
How were you able to pull of the deal by having the computer take up high priced player? Did you do it with fair trades off?
RaysFTW
How were you able to pull of the deal by having the computer take up high priced player? Did you do it with fair trades off? I did it with budgets off, but I don't know how the Yanks accepted. I guess they needed bullpen help.

RaysFTW
Transaction Alert Breaking News, Atlanta, Georgia 1 day after the Braves-Yankees deal was finalized, Commishioner Bud Selig said that the deal was unfair towards the side of the Yankees and he said that the Braves will have to send Philip Hughes and Eric Duncan back. Hour later the trade was overturned, the Braves made another deal, this time to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks, who were short on relievers and had multitudes of Outfielders, gave up OF Chris Young and a prospect to be named later for Relievers Bob Wickman and Kenny Barry. The Braves have offered to pay the contract of Bob Wickman. This deal reserved a slot for top prospect Justin Upon to make a run for the majors in a year or two. Chris Young, ranked by Baseball America as the 56th top prospect in the country, has been overlooked by the Braves for years since he was drafted by the White Sox. This is the 2nd time Young has switched uniforms and here's what Young had to say about becoming a Brave. "I can't wait to play with the other guys around here. Just the names on this team...Andrew, Chipper, John, Tim, and Mark. I will relish this moment forever and I want to be a Brave for the rest of my career, as this team is known for winning." Bob Wickman, who did not waive his no-trade clause had this to say about him being traded to the Diamondbacks. "I'm glad I'm here in Arizona. I didn't belong in Atlanta and I'm sure I'll be able to get some playing time here." Here are some of the other Callups/Send Downs made to improve the team and have room for Chris Young. Young will be introduced as a Brave at 2:30 tomorrow. A press conference will be held.
