MetsReyes777
I Bid You Alou The Metshad a good offensive day that was backed up by a great pitching performance from Brian lawrence, making his New York Mets debut. Lawrence came from San Diego recently, and made his last major league start in 2005. Lawrence was able to pitch 7 strong innings, stiking out 5 and giving up only 1 earned run. Mosies Alou provided plenty of offense, as he went 4 for 4, getting one RBI and also showing plenty of defense. The Mets continued their hot play and hope to continue it next game as they will attempt to win the series against the Florida Marlins.

MetsReyes777
Uh, Wagner, where is your head? It was an offensieve start for both teams right off the bat (literally). In what was supposed to be a good southpaw showdown at Shea, turned into an offenseive showdown. Tom Galvine took the mound against Florida's Dontrelle Willis. Glavine only lasted 4.0 innings as Willis was only able to last through 3.0 innings. The Mets jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but then eventually after 4 innings, the game was 11-9 Mets! The Mets had plenty of doubles today, as Paul Lo Duca, Moises Alou, Jose Reyes and David Wright were all able to hit 2B's off of the hard throwing and flashy Dontrelle Willis. It was a smooth game until the 9th, when Billy Wagner entered to close the door on the Marlins to earn a save, but he more like opened the door and let them explore. The Marlins were able to get 7 runs off of BIlly Wagner, giving Billy his first blown save of the year. The game was sealed by Miguel Cabrera's grand-slam to dead centerfield. The Marlins took the game, 18-12. http://dynasties.mvpmods.com/boxscores//us...yes777/NYM6.htm

MetsReyes777
In Washington, Mets Pledge Their Allegiance, Sort Of Due to the shortened season length, it was a one-game series in Washington, as the Mets handed the ball to the hard-throwing righty John Maine, who was to face off against another flashy righty from Washington, named Shawn Hill. The Mets were able to get off to a quick start when shortstop Jose Reyes lead off with an opposite field double right down the left field line, and was then singled in by third basemen David Wright, giving the New York Mets an early 1-0 lead. In the 4th, Carlos Delgado made it 2-0 Mets by blasting a 1 out solo shot over the right field wall off of Shawn Hill. John maine was able to hold the Nationals scoreless until the 6th inning, when they just completely opened up on him. Felipe Lopez, Christian Guzman, Ryan Zimmerman and Ryan Church all lead off the inning with singles, and they were all brought in on a grand-slam round tripper from the Nationals power hitting first basemen Dmitri Young. Young hammered the pitch over the left field wall, giving the Nationals a 5-4 lead. THis would prove to be all the Nationals would need this afternoon, as they took the ballgame 7-5 from the Mets. MetsReyes777
What has happened to the Mets? The Mets welcomed the Washington Nationals back to Shea Stadium tonight in hopes of getting revenge, still angered by Dmitri Young's grand slam off of John Maine in the previous game. Orlando Hernandez got the starty tonight against Washington's Matt Chico. El Duque got off to a shaky start, as he gave up a double to shortstop Christian Guzman who was then brought in on a towering shot over the right field fall from left handed hitter Ryan Church. THe Nationals built their lead as they went on to score 1 run in the 2nd and two in the 3rd. Matt Chico was able to handle the Mets offense relatively well, until the 5th and 6th innings when he gave up a combined 5 runs, yet it would not be enough to catch up to the Nationals hot hitters, as Washington took the game 10-7. JoeRudi26
i did hey guys, any new ideas for graphics, recaps, etc? leave me an idea you think may work, and tell me what you think of this dynasty so far Hey MR777, great job on the post game recaps, they look great. The only suggestion I have would be to make them a little smaller so readers don't have to scroll across the page. (500x500 works out well) Merely a suggestion on my part, you can do it however you want. Other than that, you have a good 'eye' for the pics, they look great. Keep it up, MR, longevity is the key. :)

Bronx_Bum
Suggestions: 1. Stop begging for comments. 2. You might not have many followers b/c of the unrealistic factor of your games. You might consider making changes. 3. Keep in mind that another member is also running a Mets dynasty so you have some competition. 4. Stop begging for comments (whether in your own thread or other dynasty threads). A lot of members on the board are silent followers so that is something you'll just have to deal with. Bronx_Bum
Adjust sliders, change datafiles, change difficulty, etc. Another suggestion: Maybe add a storyline regarding a milestone coming up for one of your players.
