Can you add an access of the 01-900 faces into the models.big if you allow for the default faces 901-915? If you can't what happens? Can this be corrected through a mod?

I am guessing he means that he wants to use the 901-915 slots to install cyberfaces of real life players.

If thats what he wants, I believe the answer is no. I don't think you can do away with the generic faces from the game.

I think you can but I haven't tried it so backup your files before trying to do that :)

I am sorry for the confusion. What I meant to say is that I filled up all of the slots from 01 to 900. I know that you can't replace the default faces (901-915) but could you begin at 916 and continue to add faces? There are so many great faces posted it would seem a shame to leave some of them out due to a lack of space.

If you were to do that, wouldn't you have multiple players with the same cyberface - especially the created players? From what I understand, the game generates these players in the free agent pool and gives them a face ID anywhere from 901-915. Its very likely that you will have more than 1 player with the same ID above 900.

But I think if you were to use Tywiggins' attribute updater, one can eliminate players from being randomly generated. In that case those 901-915 slots could be used, but I am not too sure.

Wouldn't the computer generate new players with faces between 901 and 915 only? I don't think that it would create players with 916 and up because those default faces don't exist.

Uncle Mo ran a project a while back trying to find out which of the numbers beyond 915 that you could use without crashing. I know there's a thread about it somewhere here on the boards.

If I'm not mistaken, the project was dropped because he didn't find any users having the time to try it out along with him.

916-945 are generics that EA did not use, or is using in a way that I am unsure of but can only guess at-which is a waste of your time for me to share speculation.

945 and beyond is a "no go". EDIT: Unless you try any and all face numbers to infiniti. I think I tried up to 999.

The thread Totte was mentioning can be found in one of Tywiggin's threads where krawhitham and tywiggins are discussing their research testing faces 916-945. I believe most faces crashed if you tried to assign a player one of those faces, some worked if you assigned a player that face, but keep in mind it is no different than faces 901-915. You could change maybe the .bmp of one of the faces in 916-945 and try that if you wish. Otherwise, you're stuck at 900 faces. I have theories on how to get more faces but have not thought them through. ADD and apathy come into play.

well throw out one of those theories would you? i always wondered if it'd be possible to make the game read from more than one models.big file.
