Paz
Hi, i know this subject has been touched millions of times, as i have scaled every forum i can find trying to sort my problem out, but it just aint workin. I bought the Boom PS2-USB converter and my PS2 controller is hooked up, now it is displayin it in my game controllers window as '4 axis 12 button joystick" now i think from what i have been reading on other forum boards, that it should say Logitech Dual Action... so i downloaded drivers for that an it just isnt recognizin it, and i dont know how to install it. i know how to change the controller.cfg and all that, but i just need to get my comp to pick up the 'fake' logitech gamepad. Anyone out there know how am gonna be able to sort this out???? HELP!?!?

Anyone out there know how am gonna be able to sort this out???? HELP!?!? you need to edit an entry in your registry.....Search and you'll find several threads on how to do this.. Edit: Access the regirsty editor and go to " HKEY_Local_Machine/System/ControlSet001/Control/MediaProperties/PrivateProperties/DirectInput/Joystick/OEM/...find your controller... On the right column right-click on OEMName and click Modify. Change that name to "Logitech....", or whatever you put in the controller.cfg file
