danc
I have mvpmod. I followed the instructions for the adding of a new uniform, which I had downloaded, to a team (Indianapolis Indians). The uniform was added with no problem while using the uniform editor 2.5. I went to the game. Found the appropriate team (033). The new uniform was not available for use. Only the original two uniforms were available. 1) Do I have to somehow indicate the directory info to where I have placed MVP2k4 in order for this to work? 2)What are the numerical values for the various teams within mvp2k4? I am tring to add the most appropriate uniforms available for use with fuzz's Total Classics Rosters. I would then start a variety of dynasty leagues after doing so. Please Help or Send me to a location where I can complete this project. I have already downloaded the 2.0 version of this package. Am excited to start playing. bigbully
did you transfer your models.big and uniforms.big files from Fuzz's folder to you MVP folder?
danc
Bigbully, When I applied the V2 Total Classics roster/etc. those files were changed within mvp2k4 as per install instructions. I know this because all of my AAA logos have changed and I see the added photos for the AAA (cls) that are oldtimers. The problem is that I make the changes in the uniform studio and add the downloaded uniforms but I don't see them in the game. Are you saying that all changes to these files are made within the directory that the "studio" is found in and not in the mvp2k4 directory? Should I move those files from mvp2k4 to the directory where the mvpmod pack is installed and then move them back after making changes? If this is so, than I really need to know which uniforms (by number) each of the teams in the Total Classics Roster corespond to in mvp2k4. I.E. Team no. 1 - 1982 Milwaukee Brewers coresponds to which AAA team in mvp2k4? etc. Thanks.
bigbully
you can put the old brewers team on any team you choose - instructions in FuzZ's readme. BUT... after you put unis into the Studio, you have to goto page 2 and choose Import Options, then Models/Uniforms.big - that actually puts the unis into the game
danc
Bigbully, Ok I see where I have to close/reopen and then import. Thanks, but the program can not find the game directory. I don't remember ever inputing the directory location when installing mvpmod so no wonder. How do I get mvpmod to locate the game directory??? Can't seem to find where to do that. I am confused by " you can put the old brewers team on any team you choose " statement. When I installed the package it seems to have assigned them to specific AAA and AA teams. I would very much appreciate a step by step here. I know it is a lot of time for you but I am having a hell of a time trying to: 1. Assign old time uniforms to the AAA and AA teams that the roster package has added logos and photos to. 2. Reassigning uniforms already in the game to the old time AAA and AA teams for useage. 3. Knowing which AAA and AA teams each old time team is assigned to by default. 4.Assigning stadiums to specific teams (AAA and AA) so that they play in the most appropriate location. Thanks in advance if you decide to help.

fuzzone
Are you saying that all changes to these files are made within the directory that the "studio" is found in and not in the mvp2k4 directory? yes he's saying that. ok this is what you can do: 1)Click on Start.exe 2)Click on Create a team 3)it will ask you to backup files, you do so. 4) close create-a-team once the main window shows up 5)click on start.exe 6)click on page 2 7)Click on import options 8)Click on IMPORT" models.big uniforms.big" all changes are made within the mvp studioin folder not in your game directory. once ur satisified with the changes, use import options from now on. you'll notice you also have an originals folder inside the BIN folder. These are your untouched files before you used fuzz studio. thanks for downloading my tool. Hope i can come up with something juicy in 2005. Let me know if you need any more help. Jim825
danc - You should also read Fuzz's MVPStudio tutorial. It does a great job of graphically walking you through the process of using the tool. danc
Thanks for the help. I am still finding this very difficult to use in the way that I want to use it. I have tried the tutorial but I can't seem to figure out how to: 1) Add uniforms to teams within the MVP2k4 folder. Remember I have downloaded and applied TeamFuzzes Total Classics Rosters/photos etc. Whenever I go to add a uniform to a team I can only find the AAA teams listed not the CLS teams. How to I export the CLS teams to the Studio directory? I have tried copying the *.big files from the MVP2k4 folder to the Studio folder but still get the list of default AAA teams. :banghead: 2) Export uniforms from the Majors (default set) to be reassigned to the Classic Teams in the CLS. Is there an export feature? I fully expect that I have overlook some obvious feature here but it is starting to drive me crazy. Sorry!

Take that file, and replace it with the one inside mvpstudio's bin folder.
