neoconusgin
Im having a problem starting a game. I just got the game again after not playing for a couple years. reading the uni-watch article on espn.com made me yearn for the greatness that is mvp again. everything installs perfectly fine. but whenever i try to start a game be it dynasty, exhibition or owner mode the game will crash halfway through the loading screen after all options are picked(stadium, unis, etc. etc.) can anyone please help me out w/ this problem. would be greatly appreciated. thanks a bunch
Maestro23
Are you using a No-CD crack/patch?

DeuceBlades
There are plenty of threads on this subject. Not to be a jerk, but better me, than one of the moderators. Just do a search for mvp crash or related key words, and you will find multiple threads on this.

kgbaseball
Well, you didn't give us enough info to tell you anything. When you reinstalled, what was your exact process? Did you just install 05, or MVP 07?

If you use a No-CD patch/crack, you will not get any help from these forums in trying to get your game running with the mods. Just a heads-up. neoconusgin
okay i reinstalled the game w/ the patches and it is working now. im going to install the rosters and uni mods now. hopefully it will still be working. im not using a no cd patch thing. looked into it and seems a bit too technical for me iso files and daemon tools, not sure what all that stuff is. any advice for the best files to download? kgbaseball
After you install 05, the first thing you want to download is MVP 07. From there, download a recent roster and the corresponding models.big, and you'll be all set.

big shmooz
Sure. Search the uniform section on this website in the downloads. Find what you like & download it. Then install it to your models.big. How to install all depends. If you use TIT (link to the file is available on this website) use that. However you will not be able to see graphically what you are doing. Another option would be to use mvpstudio but if you use the latest version of that, you will find that after installing a few uniforms, your program will "hang". My solution is to use mvp studio older version. (not sure if it's still on the site) This however causes a gfxpak problem with the models.big because it has more than 3000 files in it. (gfxpak has a bug in it that when a file has more than 3000 files in it, gfxpak crashes) You need to use a default models.big in the mvp studio folder. Then after you install the uniforms using mvp studio, you need to then copy the uniform files from your folder & make sure they are named correctly to match the names that they were in mvpstudio. (you can do this easily by simply copying the uniform files from the mvp studio folder before closing the mvp studio program. However if you close it it will delete the files. hence you need to copy it before you close the program) Then install the uniforms via eagraph. (my advice is to compress them before installation via eazip with a batch file.) You can find the files you need for this here. Just look in the first post & you will see the link to download it. It all sounds a bit complicated but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Another solution is to download my models.big (one of 3 of the 4 versions I uploaded) which already contains alot of extra uniforms in it. Just make sure that if you do decide to do this, you download Totte's "plus" rosters which is completely compatible cyberface-wise with my models.big. Hope this helps.
