Homer
alright, so i have decided to solve my little monitor problem, i've decided it'd be best to buy one to hook up to my laptop...don't ask me, why but that is the conclusion i've come to. here's the thing, i don't know much about them, and i know some of you do. my birthday's coming up and if i don't get one, i'm buying it myself. here's two i'm looking at. comments please? advice? what can you gurus tell me about these or other ones. i think i'd definitely like a 22 incher. i currently have an hp laptop, and have one of those bright screen monitors on it, and i like it. would this be anyting close? what would be? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/se...TC-PRICEGRABBER http://www.buy.com/prod/niko-2206-22-lcd-m.../203868965.html

Personally, I'll go with the higher contrast ratio and less ms (although it's quite a gimmick the way manufacturers advertised).

Homer
damn, it'd be great actually if i weren't so skeptical about these mail in rebates.
IronicMan
Just make sure you do everything the rebate states. If they deny it for no reason, you can alway threaten them by filing a complaint with BBB or do a chargeback with the your CC company. Oh yeah, always make sure you make copies of all your submissions.
