47PedroFilipe
Many of us MVP players have come to realize that the CPU does not use their bullpen well, that includes a closer like Bobby Jenks or Todd Jones to pitch 3 or 4 innings against me. And i worked the pitch count... First, no manager would leave their closer there for more than 4 or 5 outs, OK 2 innings, but only on extreme situations.. I know, there's no way we can make a mod to make the manager control this situations better.. But.. Why not, instead of the common 44 or 45 endurance or whatever the name is on MVP, why not making that ?!endurance?! on the mid 20 for example.. That would made the reliever more tired sooner, making the skipper pull them of the mound. The endurance rating should only let a reliever perform at maximum 35 to 40 pitches.. This would also make relievers less capable of recovering for the next day. I know MVP does not take in consideration double-headers and night/day games, but it's really grrrr.. when you're facing the same reliever two straight games and he goes 2 to 3 innings at bout games.. And Yes you can adjust the sliders to make the pitchers fatigue increase, but it's not enough. Take care, thanks.
SESbb30
they would still keep them in the game even if their stamina is at 0%, as long as they get outs they usually stay in the game.
kgbaseball
Usually I only have that problem if it's an extra inning game. The biggest problem I have with the computer's use of relievers is that the same 3 relievers are used for the whole series.
47PedroFilipe
I see, i play a lot in the American League so there's no pinch hit. It's really not funny going to extra innings and having Bobby Jenks pitch 40 pitches. I hope he goes DL the rest of the season and that happens, it's really stupid management. :yernuts:
kgbaseball
Like SESbb30 said, I don't think lowering stamina would even help that much.
