Dynasty injury problem

Hi there, i am currently playing my first ever dynasty in this game but i've run into something that i don't understand. I had a player get injured for 234 days and after the game i am supposed to fix my lineup. So i replaced the injured guys spot with someone from the bench but when i try to go back to the other menus it tells me that i don't have all 4 lineups filled in correctly? (4 lineups?? i thought there was only 1?)

If i fix it by letting the cpu optimize my roster it totally screws up my batting order and puts in a player from the AAA team that i don't want there, and also sends all my bench players to the minors and replaces them with other call-ups.

I'm sure this is just a dumb oversight by me but could someone please explain how to fix this manually?

Thanks for any help. :)

There are four lineups. Lineup vs. RHP w/DH, Lineup vs. RHP, Lineup vs. LHP w/DH, and Lineup vs. LHP.

There is a button at the bottom of your screen that is called "Lineup." Click this to toggle through the lineups.

There are 4 Lineups:

Versus:

LHP w/o DH

LHP w/ DH

RHP w/o DH

RHP w/ DH

Use the Lineup Button at the bottom of the screen to cycle through them.

Hah i knew it, stupid me. Guess i'm a little rusty on my baseball knowledge lol. To be honest i haven't paid that much attention to the game ever since the Expos were robbed of their chance at a world series due to the lockout that year. (made me extremely bitter)

And until now i haven't really found a baseball video game that i liked since Tony Larussa. I did play MVP 2005 for a bit when it first came out but for some reason i didn't think it was very good, but recently i heard about all the great mods on this site so i decided to dust off the old cd's and try it again.

Sure glad i did cause i'm having a lot of fun with it now!

Thanks guys!

Glad your "In the Game" this site along with eamods.com are truly amazing! It's the modders and the community that keep baseball alive for the pc. I'm not sure about others on here, but I in no way wanted to have to ever buy a console just to play baseball. Ever since highheat they keep devoting their time, talents and effort to keep this game head and shoulders above all other so called baseball games! Your in for a real treat, so enjoy and look around the forums and download sections there are alot of great utilities for the game as well. I.E. Box Score extractor, MVPedit, MVP Savreader. The list goes on and on!

Heh you ain't kidding! I too am completely amazed what the modders have done to this game. I've already spent quite a few hours looking at the forums and all the downloads, and have installed over 1gb of stuff so far. :toothless:

I may even have to try making some of my own mods! I've done a few for the NHL games and from the looks of it modding MVP isn't that much different.
