RxExA
I downloaded the XBCD 360 controller drivers a few months ago and everything has been going swimmingly since I used Kraw's directions on EA Mods. But my problem is that I also play Madden, and while I've stuck to MVP recently, I'm getting antsy to move back and split my time between the two games. The problem comes in that the new MVP XbCD drivers that I installed, now make the controller just as screwed up for Madden as it was for MVP before the drivers were installed.....meaning no worky good. How can I keep both the correct configurations/drivers for MVP as well as Madden? edit: My current status is that I uninstalled the controller entirely and reinstalled the original drivers - which correspond to Madden. So I'll need to take Kraw's steps again in addition to whatever else I have to do.
BigPaPa
you could go invest 15 bucks in another gamepad that MVP 05 will recognize or you could keep installing new drivers each time you play other than that im not sure what you could do
RxExA
What about the old Logitech Dual Action stickeroony - does that one work ?
BigPaPa
Most Probably it will if its a standard game pad which most logtechs are
Deetox
You don't need to install the original drivers to get it working properly with Madden. Just make a seperate profile for that game with the button/axis re-mapping utility that comes with the XBCD drivers.
RxExA
No idea how to use that.
Deetox
Yeah its a bit tricky to figure out, especially re-programming the axes. Took me a bit of tinkering but i got the hang of it. I just got Madden08 and made a profile for it that should have the same layout as the original drivers. I'll attach that to this post along with my MVP profile which is set up exactly like a Logitech controller. No editing of controller.cfg should be needed. So unrar my profiles to a folder, follow Kraws XBCD install guide again and then start the Setup Utility. Click open and browse to the profiles, select one and load it up. If theres any issues let me know.
