people are more than welcomed to criticize mods because it is actually productive in making these mods better. but nowhere does it state it's anyone's job to insult the modder.

Would it have been easier to type out 5x as much stuff in the beginning? Not really, no, because it's 5x as much stuff. Later on, I figured it'd be good to lay down what's really going on for anyone else who happens to agree with you, and don't quite get what I do.

I rightly criticized your work that in my opinion was not up to par with some of your others WHICH I HAVE DOWNLOADED AND USE!

My last post should've made it abundantly clear how it's not a quick fix, or worth the results, and so I stand by Baltimore. Few other parks have had as much changed as Baltimore, all for the sake of separating it from Cleveland. With such massive changes comes sacrifices.

I believe I and many others were surprised at how rudely you stated it wasn't ready for release, because of one relatively unsolvable problem. Considering everyone else who downloaded it didn't feel the need to vocalize whatever small issues there were, I can see how they were also annoyed at your comments.

People who don't put out mods don't seem to understand how others around here act. When Pirate was working on GABP, there were literally a dozen posts about changing the wall behind the plate to brick instead of padding. Even after repeatedly saying how it wasn't worth the hours it'd take to fix, people very rudely kept bringing it up over and over again. There is no way to fix every problem, especially on massive projects, because everyone else wants a little something different.

That's why we have a community, so if something really bothers you that much, you fix it yourself. That's why I'm creating (albeit rough) versions of as many single season parks as I can, because I don't want the 2007 version in the '61 mod.

Essentially, when you come out with 4 or 5 parks in a week, which I did, someone picking nits and saying you shouldn't have released your work is terribly irksome. If someone wants to pay me to do this, fine, but otherwise WYSIWYG.

After seeing this, one line comes to mind: Those who can, do, those who can't, criticize. Do something before knocking down everyone else's work, and challenging people to fights. You are, without a doubt, one of the saddest people I've ever seen online. I truly feel bad for you, lashing out on a forum because you don't feel the need to contribute anything to the world.

I stand by what I said originally. Having players heads pop out of the grass is something that I simply don't want to see. As for some of the others being "annoyed," you can see some of the idiotic accusations that were made along with further personal attacks. Simply ridiculous. A mountain out of a mole hill.

Guess you won't be able to use the park, or Milwaukee when it comes out. I have no intention of fixing these issues until I have completely moved away from oedit, so it might be best to move completely past everything I do.

I don't recall doing such a thing. As for anger? Heh...most of the responses were laughable. To become angry or insulted or to feel bad at text on a screen, one has to first respect those that type such things. That hasn't happened yet, for the most part, in this thread.

People who don't know me, yet, can for some reason call me "lazy" "incapable" etc. must believe that they are psychic, and we all know that there is no such thing.

I actually WAS working on something, but if it ever gets done, which seems unlikely at this point, I will keep it to myself rather than share it with some of the responders in this thread.

The fact that you don't like or dislike the mods has nothing to do with it. You have no respect for the time and effort that the modders put into these. If you had done any reading at all you would have saw numerous times where Sean has mentioned that he just does the Oedit and grunt work on his parks. Pirate and others help him with the graphics and collision end of things.

This isn't the first time you made an *** out of yourself because something wasn't done to your liking. But rest assured, it will be your last.
