xcrunner4623 Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 This has only happened since I started playing MVP 2005 on the computer. With PS2, I was fine. But now, it's like my right handed hitting is giving me an enema at every at-bat. I can't hit for power to left field with my righties, and the only home runs I hit is to the opposite field. I try to mini-games, but I suck at those. So is there any advice out there besides to keep trying the mini-games? I don't know what it is. In like 500 at-bats, I have managed one right handed home run by Jimmy Rollins, who hit it like 490 feet. Does anyone have any tips or advice? ro290190 Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 The easiest way to do it would be to "preload" your controller up and to the right and then if the pitch seems satisfactory to you swing. I always pre-load my swing with a righty, thinking the ball will be up over the outer half. If I pre-load inside, I always pop it up, miss completely or hit a weak fly. Burrell right now has like 12 home runs. 9 from me and 3 from when I simmed to get up to the point in the season. All of the shots were to dead center or right-center. I have no problem going the other way. I routinely hit doubles down the right field line.
