nickwwe233
I'm heading into August in my franchise and most of my starters have 20+ home runs. According to the league leaders, this is well above normal. When I swing, I usually hold the thumbstick in the upper left or upper right corner, depending on the batter. If I just use the swing button with no thumbstick, will I still be able to hit home runs? If so, would it be incredibly rare? Thanks.
kgbaseball
Yeah you can still hit them. I'd just lower the User Power sliders if I were you.
arossi12
Depends, if you're using the 07 datafile and on normal, I hit a decent amount of homers, pretty realistic number, too.

By normal do you mean pro setting? I play on allstar and I have tried every data file out there. I recomend switching datafiles if you have not already. I am using trues at the moment but I always switch them up to keep me on my toes. I also use roddata and kumala's earlier versions. I like MD's 3.1 as well. My advice is to switch it up with some new data files.
