evilselig
Although I do have a PC I use my Macbook laptop much much more. Now that Intel based macs can run windows has anyone ever tried playing MVP on a mac? I think it would be really cool if I could play MVP on the go! But I'd rather not put Windows on my Mac if the game won't run properly because I have no other use for Windows. Did anyone ever try this? Please no PCs are better than Mac comments, that's your opinion, I just want to know if anyone ever ran MVP on a Mac flawlessly. My gut feeling tells me there will be some sort of compatibility problem though.
fizzjob
Without installing Windows? Maybe you can make it work using Wine, but I have no idea how you'd do that.

ronmexico
Wine don't work. You can install with crossover, but I recommend installing windows so that way it runs natively, that is what I do.

evilselig
ronmexico, I never expected it to run under Wine! But you are saying it runs fine with a native copy of Windows? Any issues whatsoever?? Which version of Windows do you run? The new Mac OS is supposed to be exclusively designed to run Vista (which I don't even have). I once tried putting XP on my Macbook using Bootcamp but for some reason it wouldn't go through the install process and just froze. This is something I want to look into, but I need a bigger harddrive first.
ronmexico
I was just commenting that it won't work on Wine. I run it on XP, Vista = crap for MVP. Vista would not be an exclusive OS of Leopard because each is independant and one of the things that Bootcamp prides itself on is the ability to run XP and Vista for anyone who wants it. I had the install process go bad the first time I tried it too, what you have to do is rejoin the drive into one and try again, but this was when bootcamp was still in Beta form.
