Is your MVP Baseball 2005 game crashing?

I had the same issue with those rosters until I turned the injuries and suspensions off. I like having the injuries turned on so I restarted a new season and turned injuries/suspensions on for MLB only and has worked ever since. If all minor league teams and starting lineups are not filled in, the game crashes.

I'm still getting the same problems. I tried optimizing rosters and everything. Has anybody figured out what minor league team/starting lineup isn't filled yet?

I installed MVP12 and all its patchs. And then I started play "owner mode" with the Minnesota Twins (using the file that comes with the CAS Target Field File) and I made some changes to the roster and created a couple players. I also bought the final asset to the stadium it was missing. Then I tried to play the first game manually. The game finished and when I clicked "exit the stadium" the game crashed. I then re-loaded the game and tried to quick sim the game.... same result. The i tried to "manage" the game and yet again it crashed. I tried to advance through the game by going into "Schedule" and it crashed again.

Does it matter if I saved it as a "New Owner Mode" instead of saving it to same file that it came as? And if not, What is going on and is there a way to fix it?

You know what,I never was able to get a full season(s) completed in OWNER MODE using these CAS Stadiums I made. The reason is that I used the money-cheat in order to build the stadiums with all of the features available (like stadium capacity for example). The problem when using these stadiums (along with my owner file), is that having all of that money messes up the budget for team ownership and it will crash within the first month of the season.

These CAS Stadiums, however DO WORK in Dynasty/Season mode and with Exhibition mode. I played my 2010 Tampa Bay Rays Dynasty for a full season using my CAS Tropicana Stadium with no problems at all. That's because, in Dynasty Mode, the stadium you play in has no effect on a budget of any kind.

Dennis, I never knew that it would work in dynasty/season mode. Is it one stadium at a time though?

Hey daflyboys,

Yeah, I know it seems too complicated to use these CAS stadiums in Dynasty/Season mode but it only really involves about 2 more steps.

What I did was:

• First copy my (4) owner files in the MyDocs/MVP Baseball 2005 folder and I named them "Rays" "Yankees" "Twins", and "Marlins".
  

• I made a folder on my DESKTOP called "CAS STADIUMS" and placed the venuday & venunite stadiums in each team's subfolder. <see pic>
  

• If I knew I was going to be playing the Yankees in New York, I would copy those stadium files into my /data/stadium folder and start the game.
  

• After I load my dynasty and play the game @ Yankees on my schedule; I then have the choice to pick my stadium.
  

• Just scroll to the "Create Ballpark" selection and click the "Load Owner" button at the bottom. Load the "Yankees" owner file, choose Day or Night, and then finally play the game.

Ok, weird thing, my game freeze after I play the game, not before or during, just at the end, when I try to exit to go to the save menu, is not the first game of the season, I´m in the middle of April, the game is againts the Royals (second game of the series), I´m playing with the Braves, I´m using the 2012 Mod with Dafly latest rosters...any thoughts?

Edit: I just realized that no matter what team I choose, all the time I sim the season the game freezes after 12 games... is this a Schedule problem or something???

Nevermind, I try another roster and the game runs perfectly...the roster was the problem

3) I updated my original MVP 2005 game patch up to 3.

4) I tried to used the roster updates and faces pack but still nothing.

Any ideas or tips will be greatly appreciated. If it could be a roster, facepack or stadium issue is there a quick fix for it? Do I need to do any tweaking to models.big or any file in the MVP 2005?

Okay, I downloaded the Total Classics ten mod and it said the game was installed successfully but there are no applications in the folder. The game is installed in the computer so I tried copying the app into the folder. The game starts but crashes at the loading screen.

I had a legit copy of the game and never had any issues with it. However, my one-year-old son recently got his hands on the disk and now it's in shards. It felt like losing a close friend and, not ready to say goodbye, I downloaded a crack so I could continue playing. However, now the game crashes whenever I try to play a home game. Is there any way to fix this aside from paying $40 to get a new copy of the disk, or am I doomed to having my friend gone until I can afford a replacement?

If you're on Windows 7 do what I did. Do a clean install of the game to it's original folder, then once it's installed cut and paste that entire folder to your desktop. Extract the MVP13 contents to any folder, and click on the explode me file directing it to the EA Sports folder you just moved onto your desktop. This worked for me... Good luck!

I was getting ready to try out my 71 Dodgers road unis playing the Giants at home in the '61 Candlestick version for an exhibition game. I was pitching Gaylord Perry against Don Sutton. I got the Dodgers out 1-2-3. It shows Don Sutton on the mound and Kuiper and Krukow announced the Dodgers pitcher as Don Sutton. Just after that the game crashed. It did not show Ken Henderson leading off. I tried the Giants on the road against the Cubs in Wrigley and everything was OK. I even replaced the stadium with the same thing. I checked the gloves and the faces to make sure everything was in the models.big. Candlestick worked before when I tested my Giants unis. I also made sure that everything was compressed in my models.big. I also tried the Dodgers on the road in another stadium and that was OK. I'm totally puzzled. I install my unis with Total Installer Thingy. I have Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit, and patch #2.

Could somebody help me with this?

Update: I tried Dennis's 70's Candlestick and everything was cool. I put Sean's 1961 Candlestick back in by copying the 4 files on top of the others. The night one works but NOT the day one. Does anybody know about any problems with this stadium?

mine crashes everytime i try to play against the pirates, i realized it might a roster problem cause when you´re selecting they players you want to use, the pirates have a "DH" no matter if you´re playing them against the dodgers or any other national league team.

Each team has 4 lineups:

vs. left handed pitcher with DH

vs. right handed pitcher with DH

vs. left handed pitcher without DH

vs. right handed pitcher without DH

If you see a DH in the game, it's because you have the DH settings in the options screen set as "All Teams" instead of "American League only".

it just happens when i'm against the pirates or i'm the pirates, i started a season with them to see how the batting order is going and they have the DH option in all of their four lineups. If i play against them as soon as i pass the Pitcher selection screen the game crashes. I guess it might be a roster issue

A process ~e5.0001 (cleanup) keeps coming up on the task manager list and crashing my mvp baseball 2013 mod. Anyone experiencing the same thing? How do I solve it? Thanks

Can anyone help me with the two issues i'm having?

First issue is that I cannot save a file. Anytime I try to save anything I'm am told my hard drive does not have enough space for storage. The thing is the hard drive has about 2TB's of free space.

Second issue is that the game freezes every time I choose select accept in the options screen. I can't even close MVP through the task manager so I have to restart the computer.

I have MVP 2013 installed and the 5th patch.

I remember this working on win7 a year ago. I tried compatibility settings using winxp sp2. Sometimes before it crashes I the splash screen for literately half a second.

Yeah i have tried that also. I have also tried lowering my res and going back to 60hz in hopes it would make a dif no luck.

This is pretty baffling. You say you are running it on Windows 7 so I gather from that that you more than meet the requirements to play the game.

I never thought of that. By mistake he could have been putting in disc one. It happens.

I know that too.

The reason why I said that was some years back someone had a hard time getting his game to run and I was going through it step by step with him and everything seemed to be fine. He met all the game requirements and then in passing he mentioned that he always put in disc one to play the game. That was it. I told him to put in disc two and try it out. He got in the game and we happily parted ways.

No I downloaded it. I have used this copy before with the no cd crack that came with it before. Maybe about a year ago. But now no luck. When I start it, my resolution changes, sometimes I see the first loading screen for maybe half a second at the most, then it crashes.
